Please explain how to bake a traditional trifle

sometimes you just want to push the bird out to impress your guests or even to treat yourself and you can do that with pastries but just using amazing ingredients and that's what I'm going to do with this traditional truffle revisited at la la la so to start to do that we're going to mix some fresh berries with some icing sugar I got a mixture of strawberries raspberries and blueberries closer to Christmas you can even add maybe some cranberries to it to give a bit of zest so we're just going to mix them together gently and fast as well I'm gonna add some orange charcoal or orange liqueur so we just want the sugar to dissolve properly and to coat our berries here I got some emeriti biscuit the soft one not the crunchy one not the macaron ones and this is the ball I'm gonna use to build the trifle so I'm putting three macaroons on the bottom like that and I'm gonna prepare the cream mascarpone cheese mix with a bit of caster sugar and I'm just gonna mix them together gently I mean it's much better to have it done in advance you can sit in a fridge all the fruit and all the flavors setup together but I won't do it the day before because they all go soggy the macaroons would soaked all the juice and it's perfect so get my ball back here and here I got some red berry compote you can get some bought in if you want to you can make your own one but just you know reducing fresh berries with a bit of sugar on the stove and let it to cool down say just covering the biscuits what we want to do really is to see the layers gonna get the berries so you're gonna get the flavors of the orange the emeriti biscuits and it's more to come I mean this is pure indulgence really you know but whipped cream we perfect okay that's perfect nice ladies I'm gonna put that in a fridge and we're gonna make the custard for the top special custard place egg yolks in a bowl and whisk thoroughly add sugar and flour whisk until pale then add warmed milk return the mixture to the pan stir until the custard histah can't our custard or creme Patissiere is cooled down there so we can finish our trifle so I'm gonna add to it the secret ingredient very 70s eggnog do it I'm just going to mix it and a bit of vanilla extract and I do say extract not essence or flavoring horrible thing it's perfect and it's gonna spoon it we don't put too much just to cover the cream and then I got some spare emeriti biscuit and I'm just gonna crumble them in little pieces on top yes and some spare berries sorry Dutch passing show we have a trifle with a difference eggnog truffle pure luxury and of course don't forget to subscribe to my own channel if you love baking every Monday it's a baking mad Monday you
