I'm Lisa and welcome to Lisa's stamp studio today's quick tip is going to teach you how to emboss your paper with your framelits I've selected the detailed Dragonfly from the thinlits and I'm going to show you just how easy this is you're going to need a piece of cardstock obviously and then we're going to bring in the big shot you'll need your magnetic platform you're also going to need the thin die adapter that comes with your Big Shot you lay that on top you'll need your silicone craft sheet if you don't have one you're going to want to purchase that in the catalog that's an amazing product and then your cardstock and then the die now normally the die would be face down which means the raised edges are down that cuts but when you want to emboss it's important that it's up so I'm going to just place this on my cardstock here where I want it I'm going to put a clear acrylic cutting mat over the top and all you're going to do is crank this through the big shot you'll see what's happened is that it's actually embedded the impression of this framelit right in to the paper isn't this stunning let me flip it over so you can see the other side and what's really neat about this is that the impressions going to be slightly different depending on what side you decide to use you can sponge ink over white cardstock lightly if you'd like but this is just a fun way to use your framelits to actually create an embossed look on your paper
