you hi guys me again and I don't know if you've seen that I not long ago did the Grand Canyon Bavarian for a customer and he contacted me last week and asked if I could make like a basking ledge for his bearded dragons and so obviously I said yes and I started work on it two days ago and this is how far I've got so far it's using polystyrene sheets again which are well these ones here are one centimeter thick and I basically glued two bits together to make it 2 centimeters so each step is 2 centimeters the FAQ I use thicker polystyrene this is 2 centimeters thick each rocks 2 centimeters and as you can see I have put 3 legs to get more support you don't want it toppling over but this is base that we got to match the Grand Canyon bit that I did so yeah same all again polystyrene sheets a sharp knife silicon sealant to stick them all together and some creativity how you want it to look this is the shape that I went for which is it too bad that's the bottom view which is going to be completely different monsters will grant it up this is just a start as you can see life one thing I haven't done yet which I'm going to show you again I did listen to grand canyon video as well is the motor technique um yeah as you can see I've got a long lighter here which is a lot better to use in a handheld like so that lighter as they'd get hot quite quick so what you want to do once again is run the flame over don't keep it in one spot for too long because it will catch on fire what you want to do is carefully on the flame over and this makes the polystyrene get a more natural rock shape you see now now look it's already starting to work now obviously this is a lot larger than iam and a little bit that I did before when I showed you yeah you don't want it on there for too long you just want to quickly go over as you can see already the top now if you can see from there but already you'll see some results yeah I'm getting it softer well ah so yeah just basically over the top and around copy this as well as you can see as well with the steps I have made I started off with one large step then one slightly smaller then one slightly smaller again and smaller and smaller yeah so it gives you this sort of nice-looking map do for now as you can see on here the Polly's melts and then it hardens up quite quick it gives you more of a natural rock shape as you can see on Annette now this is getting quite a few layers of grout and I'll show you once again how to make up the mixture yeah I think that's looking quite cool right onto the grout get rid of these you need an old Bowl a soft brush and a spoon jug of water and once again a big chaw the grout already mix you can see probably what a couple of scoops Oh talk alone a little bit a water using a little bit of water every time looks it in like so in a bit more water if you want to put too much water in at once and once we end up like slop so you just basically want to add water and I give it a good mix add some more water get a good mix now this can get a bit messy so when make sure you around so many jeans and an old t-shirt or something I find that once it's watered down as well it lasts a lot longer it doesn't dry out so quick so what I tend to do is make the mix do the first layer and then put the fan on it then let us act quite quick as well and then once it's dry I'll go put a second layer of ground on it put it clear fan and it dried then put another layer another layer and so I'm satisfied with how it looks but yeah it's a little bit thick for the first one I always like to make it a little bit more money so that it gets into all those little hard-to-reach places you've got it one here yeah and it's just nice and runny like so that's not put the lid back on this and then I think what I'll probably do is start on the bottom first mixers we got that start on the bottom no soft brush again yeah there were nothing too hard dunk it in then just spread it out you okay guys as you can see the first cake for the bottom is is literally done and God let us dry out obviously it's now 20 past day at night so I probably leave it as dry on its own overnight and carry on against my and I will do the top and then start again from the the bottom and then the top again and I work that way but as you can see take some ice now this if you see I can't quite leave it there you go this is how it looks at the moment its first layer of grout and yeah I shall lay on another coat tomorrow hi guys it's me again um as you can see I have left us overnight to dry you go so you can see underneath as well but isn't this is the first toe of grout and it's gonna need at least another three layers to get it looking just perfect but now I'm going to show you how to do the top on here and I've also picked up some grout I've made this one a little bit more running because I've got some steps on here here we go so what we do is we start off at the top again first clean brush soft brush just lift this up obviously it's still fragile I'm going to be very careful let's just break something to cry mm there's an attic okay um yeah maybe you're traveling professionals right well this happening I thought I'd break this off just to show you what to do if it breaks whining it's like I meant to do that big splat list just to show you what to do it happens it does happen um is to be fixed don't worry we can fix this we hit oh yeah this this looks very professional right now and I think I'll switch you can off and then yeah and and I'll see you later bye now don't know which ones back on which ones from Oh
