initially when I started building my bathroom here to wash windows I had other I have more plans to get this done so if any of you small shops don't have a lost base and tub yeah we all got to figure it out that's if you do it this way so anyway I think this is a 22 inch disc I don't remember what I measured it in in the last video but getting ready to wash it I'll make do until then as you will see so you're ready to take care of this what I'm going to do is I'm going to build a panel up here on this wall where I can set my window down on a little ledge it'll cover up the wall receptacle here so we'll be safe that way and water will drain down on this surface right here into the tub so it'll be pretty efficient for just a regular bathroom not a lot of people washed her windows I don't know how they do it but here it goes here's how I do it I always use Dawn dish soap just sprinkle a little on a little tub right here a little won't wash it alright to wash the lid and everything else we're not going to give it time to oxidize so we're good try to get it down quick so I can get it within a decent timeframe on my video just gently turn in the window you need more dog go ahead I just use a little bit don't take much to try to use the water warm or hot to wash the grease off to put us card you'll find out that the temperature is a big deal here in a minute when you put on the when you put on the patina it'll definitely be a big deal so I'm scrubbing I'm trying to scrub down a while you're not seeing it sorry about that but that way keep from splashing up up above obviously you can't put a lot of pressure on the window and you don't need to brush will do the job it's not about elbow grease so you know I'm going to turn it around I don't know how a lot of people are doing it I've actually seen some crazy ways of doing it where people are somewhat washing the windows laying up in with rags and towels and all kinds of stuff really well I guess everybody has their own how to deal with this this is fine normally when I have a bigger shop I actually use a bathtub but I had a really cool system set up in it so that I had a backboard on it with foam rubber and everything to absorb the Rays texture it's actually pretty cool in the summer time I washed these windows outside it's kind of fun curiosity with tourists going by they'd like to see what I'm doing no stopcock here because I do a lot of door size panels 30 inch width wide by 65 inches long or 22 inches wide for a door so that's pretty good right here in this case the gate I rinse this off and washes pretty much with warm water or hot it's going to make a difference in the future when we put the teen on that you do not want to use warm or hot in fact you're going to want to use cold water when you put on Betina we'll explain that further so I got to achieve what I want to hear with minimum splash done a lot of Windows I've probably done 1,000 or so this side so pretty comfortable with getting it done give you an idea what the panel looks like this is awesome dichroic bevel okay that that's pretty clean now comes time to towel dry it off which i think we all know what that looks like and then we're going to take it downstairs for the next step so I'll meet you there in a minute
