Please explain how to clean all-clad stainless steel cookware

welcome everyone my name is Tanisha pitch avenue choke otherwise known to my students as chef teah I'm a personal chef caterer and culinary instructor at tea spoons my boutique cooking school in Ladera Ranch California in this clip we're going to show you how to clean all cloud stainless steel cookware now I love my iPod but there is a downside and that it requires a little more maintenance than nonstick cookware but all you need is actually a couple simple things first you'll need a good stainless steel cleaner such as far keepers friend then you'll also need a non abrasive sponge and some hot water and that's all you need to clean your stainless steel so I'm going to go ahead and turn on my hot water and fill up my clad with the hot water now you want to make sure you completely cover all of the food that's caked on in there okay that looks pretty good there and now I'm going to take it over to my stove so now I'm going to go ahead and put it on my stove top and turn on my flame make sure you have a nice strong flame there so it boils up there we go so we're going to let it sit there until it boils and once it comes to a boil we're going to turn off the heat and take it back over to the sink so now that I've removed my pot from the stovetop I'm going to take out most of the water that was in there until I have just about a cup left in there well just a little bit more that looks pretty good there now I'm going to take my stainless steel cleaner and sprinkle a generous amount into the pan to make a good thick paste there we go that looks pretty good so now I'm just going to let it soak for about 10 to 50 minutes to make sure that the stainless steel cleaner has enough time to just really soak in there and dislodge all of the food particles and we'll come back in a few to give it a good rinse so now that our paste that we made from our stainless steel cleaner and a little bit of water has been soaking in here for about 15 minutes we're going to go ahead and give it a good scrub and rinse I'm going to actually put on my gloves first because I want to make sure that I protect my hands because the stainless steel cleaner could irritate your skin and over time could damage it as well so we want to make sure we protect our hands when we're using any type of cleaner so now I'm going to take my non abrasive sponge and just kind of give it a good to get off all of the food and grind that stuff now it's a lot easier now that's been soaking in the pace there so we're able to get out all the food there I'm going to turn on my hot water and give it a good rinse and take off all the food there I'm going to go ahead and take my dish rag make sure it's nice and dry looking beautiful and as you can see now it's nice shiny and clean and that's how you clean your stainless steel all clogged cookware
