hello this is Brandon with builders and arts direct and I'm going to show you how to rack nine ball so it's the hardest run-out so if you're racking for your opponent if you rack the balls they call pattern racking basically if you rack the balls this way it gives them the hardest chance of running out gives you a better chance of being able to play basically the one ball has to be up on every time okay and then we're going to do the eight seven doesn't matter which side does wrong okay nine ball if you're the 5 and the 3 again it doesn't matter which side goes wrong two and the four doesn't matter which side and the six so what happens is the bowls are going to go in opposite directions when you pattern rack okay so the one will be at this end the two the three the four it's going to go back and forth so they're constantly having to go from one into the table to the other and you notice I'll break the balls and you can kind of see what happens so you can see the twos down here then the three and the four then the five then the six here's the seven that eight nine didn't spread out very much but that's what happens when you pattern Rach they they start going at opposite ends of the table this one's okay a lot of times it will be much much worse and sometimes it won't be as bad but that's the pattern rack and that's how you'll have your best chances of coming up to the table after your opponent's broke that's my tip for the day
