you and welcome back to a new video today we are going to be trying something pretty new I will be showing you guys how to make an origami fortune teller or fortune cookie whatever you want to call it alright so basically what we are going to need first is a hard surface as you can see this is a carpet that's not going to work so let me pause the video here all right boom we have a hard surface this is actually just the back of my high school yearbook alright so basically what you're going to want to do is you're going to want to take a square piece of paper and you're going to want to take it and turn it so that it looks like a diamond and then you're going to want to fold it in half like this take careful notice of how the corners always touch you there's a really good crease or else it's just gonna not stay together and it's not going to be very great alright so once you've opened that up turn it again so that it's a square and not a diamond anymore and then what you're going to want to do is you're going to want to take every corner and fold it to the center of the creases where they intersect like this little dog right here you all right so basically the wave fortune cookies work it's really cool it's like you walk up to one of your friends and you have them pick a number let's say they pick one so you open it up once you have them pick another number or if you open it up the other way you haven't picked a color let's say they picked cool pink and so then you move to change it four times because pink has four letters P I and K for you why I okay okay good I got it and then if you land on the same thing or if you land on the other thing you have them choose another color but you don't change it again instead you open up the flap and read what it says such as you will smile many times today that is how fortune cookies working you basically just have to you so don't forget to leave a like subscribe and have a great day bye
