nobody can insure here I'm gonna demonstrate how to clean silver coins use this on coins that aren't very valuable you know most coins detector pretty award or beat up so what you should do is highlight your coins so we look a little more presentable this also works on rings silver rings copper coins worked pretty good what do you got to do is just you get the copper coins that have a light dirt mixed in this will work pretty good what I'm using is generic baking soda and then got a little bit of a dish of water that baking soda here I got American Silver Dollar Canadian quarter another quarter Elizabeth dime and the 40s dime so I like to do is I usually just go like this just the coin the water what I'll do is I'll just lightly I'll just rub it in lightly here every coin works so differently but a little bit of water rub it in here this coin actually feels kind of greasy actually to be honest you just go like that and you got to remember this is coins aren't that aren't valuable just a little bit better than scrap value that you'll see the difference does here and the more time you spend you'll just like to soak it in there and get it all in there really good now putting this up video for John Paul so what I'm gonna do is I'm going to clean the one side you can see the difference here you see this coin on that side and cooling on this slide see the difference and that's a really tough time to be honest this coin is quite tough I like to leave a little bit of patina just soak your little better detail off the coin is really worn sometimes the date gets hard to read so just use any other discretion may want to do it but there's another one this is a quarter 1940s quarter Canadian 800 silver so just clean these up here quickly and I rub them like this kind of like an round motion you know up to the edges because there's the reading on the edges so it gets really nice and clean reverse it here and get around the lettering what I'll do is see is you see the tarnish comes off there my hands are pretty dirty so you'll take a coin that's basically not really that great and make it into a presentable decent coin as you can see the luster here quite nice mind you this is just a boy Union dollar coin I'll do one more coin so what I'm doing is this it's kind of getting wet like a piste but I'll also want a bit slightly uh kind of like slightly wet not too wet and I just do the circular motion when the outer edges like that and like to say if you look at a magnifying glass you'll see oh but my new scratches well you know to make it I you won't notice it but if you took a loop a time time loop or something you'll notice it but like you say if you've got coins that are dug in the ground either have a coin that you can then look how to see all they said is so about do something clean up everything here except the dollar I'm gonna leave it one side clean on one side off clean so all you need is basically I just set this up to make it look fancy here but you can do in your sink or anything all you do is do your coin a little bit wet a little bit of baking so I you just pour the container on the coin a little bit buff a little bit with your hands buffets of what you like remember don't use anything valuable this is just for you know no key dates these are just common very common coins like you say works on copper or brass you get tokens you get token to the ground and you've got a dirt film on there all you do is use the same process just be careful some some coins or metals you could you lose a lot works good aluminium brass aluminum copper good results on Luminess good results copper like green carpet claims if they're lightly green they'll come out pretty good if they're heavily pitted well there's not much you can do but I find if I do get a coin that screen lightly green I'll give it a little baking soda rub then I'll put a little bit of olive oil on it and then you should come pretty good so guys try this I'll take pictures now well what see them Alton I see I'll take some pictures of after I did them before already and you'll see what how they look all the best piece was described this is team treasure I drilled how greedy this named treasure hunter here back at you again I just cleaned up these coins I just want to show you the details here the coin is quite nice I mean you gotta remember these coins or beat up coins to start with there got a lot of wear that had Knicks bag marks great I mean this camera hat does is really good for close-ups even if you looked at it by your eyes you wouldn't see as as much as you've seen with a camera you remember this process you can use for sterling anything sterling like knives forks anything you want and you take the medals but like to say you try a little bit of first on some medals to be careful on stuff that have dates on it especially old tokens a lot of times the tokens here where the dates are writing is it's really a corroded when you start rubbing things they start breaking off and then you start losing deets especially wheat sense it gonna be careful - if you get coins that have relatively good good condition metal - except they're just dirty this process works really great so anyways that's the one side I'm gonna flip around to see the other side let's see the difference there you know this one around here too so you can enhancer coins especially if you have a collection going and you have all these common dates here all you do is you clean them up nicely put them in the album put dates on them whatever but remember don't do these on valuable coins is just for 70 billion type coins it could be a little bit better than playing these cards were pretty worn or you get a coins I've done it on the really nice looking coins and they came out so nice so just use your own discretion and just be careful but if you want to shine up stuff make look presentable this is the way you do it thanks for watching please subscribe mean treasure hunter notes you
