Oh everybody out there in YouTube land today I am going to show you how to change the rear differential fluid it is angled drive fluid you have to get from Polaris and your first step I have the tire off and the whole side off so it'll be easier to show you where everything is so your first step just go underneath and remove the bolt from the hole it is 11 millimeter so I'm going to get that off and start draining it and then I will come back alright there we go it is draining and as you can see that stuff's pretty nasty looking it's probably been in there for a long time so we're going to sit and let that drain for a little bit and then we'll come back and I'll show you how to put in the new stuff right I am back so I have it all drained out this is what you need to fill it Polaris angle drive fluid you need five ounces and I found its easiest if you use a squeeze bottle with a hose because the bolt is right there on the side and you need to put in five ounces so I have measured out five ounces and made a mark with a marker so I'm going to fill this up and then I'll come back and show you how to take the bolt out and fill it up alright I'm back so the bolts that you're going for is this one on the side and you take it out and then to fill it up you slip in the tube and put in your five ounces nice and easy so I'm going to get it in there and then when I'm done I'll come back and show you how to put the bolt back in and then we'll be done so here we are I thought I'd show you what I was doing here so you get the idea of it takes a little while food is kind of thick when you do it in a little tube like this so that's that all right we are back so the next thing is to put in the 13 millimeter bolt and it's all closed up make sure there's no leaks and you go so that is how you change the rear differential fluid in a 2003 Polaris Sportsman 700 twin I hope this helped you out if you have any questions let me know hit that like button and subscribe I'll talk to you guys later
