hello and welcome to my short video on how to make a fortune teller the first thing you need um to make a fortune teller is a piece of paper not this one this one now you ultimately need a square piece of paper but obviously this is a4 um the best way of turning an a4 piece of paper into a square piece of paper is to fold from the corners so which very carefully fold from that corner create a crease and do it from the opposite corner create another crease like that you've then got a square and then you've got this bit on the end here as well so the best thing to do is fold over and then from the corners fold it over that side fold it over that side make sure you've got a straight crease that should be just about right so as you can see you've got this you've got the cross corner corner and you've got a straight line now here's where you have to be really really careful because this will work and go horribly wrong take the corner make a little tear if you press down very very hard you can create it comes off like that now i've done this several times and that's the neatest it's ever been so far so good so now you've got your square and what you need to do in the next stage of making a fortune teller is fold each corner into the center like that again just try to make sure it's as accurate as it possibly can be like that like that so that's the next stage once you've done that you simply turn it over and you fold the corners into the middle again like that each corner two three and four essentially about done best to to fold in the middle one way again make sure that's straight and then fold in the middle another way you've then essentially got very conscious i keep saying the word essentially you've essentially got your fortune teller so make sure you pop out flaps there and then your fortune teller done there you go that's how you make a fortune teller
