all right everybody wants [ __ ] corner today's video we are going to do a speedometer correction on my Jeep any time you change a tire size our gears are both your odometer or your stronger is going to be out says I'm doing a buck 20 about my GPS says I'm doing about a hundred so the first thing we're gonna do is move the electrical connection I push that red tab out so the [ __ ] thing there we go and then we want to remove it right here and I think that's a number 10 the number 12 I know it's not [ __ ] Imperial for [ __ ] sakes oh well 13 works for now to get it out I'll get the proper wrench to put it back in you shouldn't have any oil pistol because it is above the fiddle line but anything's possible now wiggle this [ __ ] and pull it out alright so we get this gear figured out here just looks like it's some snap-on deal by looks of it yeah just snap so just like that and I'm gonna swap this one in [ __ ] that was simple enough and the new o-ring to go along with it this one here's a 39 tooth this one here is a 34 the original was a 34 so there you have it now we're ready to stick it back in the horseshoe right here mounts on the grooves in the center and that will prevent it from spinning around can lock tight it if you still wish once you get it in push this red tab up hard pin though you have your sensor put and actually get her back into place that's it done that's right now my phone GPS it says I'm doing about 101 kilometres an hour my odometer is saying I'm doing 100 kilometres an hour so we're [ __ ] pretty much dead on though alright I was gonna see it's beer time but it's not I'm out of beer my friend Aubrey was over we drank it all so I'm going to end my video on that on correcting your speedometer I had to know just with the GPS on my phone and it was like 1 or 2 kilometres though but obviously your GPS and your phone is gonna be 100% perfect either but we're pretty much right on the money so it's pretty simple that job will take you about 10 minutes to do it's a quick simple like I got these from Moore's 4x4 and like the gear Neill ring wasn't even all that much money but I'm going to get going to have any questions or comments post them below otherwise thanks for watching check out my channel for other Jeep videos
