hi everybody I'm Patrick Novotny and welcome to my channel this time I'm going to show you guys how to draw more attention to your awesome looking shoes with straight bar lacing of course I bought the colored laces to go with it so they really make them pop and with a slim pair of pants slim style pants or jeans they really pop out so I'm going to show you how to do that right now okay so take your shoelaces make sure they're even at the ends like so obviously you know so you're going to be starting here take one end you're going to feed it through one of the eye holes I've got five holes here so even if you had a six or seventh one you just continue the pattern until it's all the way finished so pull it underneath like so take your second your other end of your shoelace put it into the eye hole pin it down and through so from here we're going to pick one side and we're going to going to go right under to the next hole like so while keeping this a little bit snug and feed it over to the other side very simple so far like that okay so taking the other string the other shoelace we're going to skip over the one we just went through so this is kinda how we're going to do it all the way through we're going to do one side we're going to cross over and then skip a whole so from here bring it all the way across feed it through and now we now we've gone under we're going to skip a hole this is my last hole now I'm going to finish this other side it's going to come underneath since the holes already occupied you skip a hole up and cross like so and from here I don't tie my shoelaces I just tuck them into my shoes up for the time being and then the last one will finish off the look and then again I don't tie my shoelaces and from here you want to go through each one tighten that up not so it's not so tight that your feet don't fit in here you want to keep it nice and taut so it looks nice and sure or ii will fix that bottom one there we go that's how you do a straight bar lace hey thanks for watching my how-to straight bar laser your dress shoes if you want to see more then please subscribe but check out the rest of my channel thanks for watching
