hey guys today we're going to cook because i found a recipe on the internet that i thought needed a video because it is delicious and people need to know about it um it is a bacon cream cheese wrapped soft boiled egg and it is so i'm going to show you how to make that and uh let's get started so today we're only going to make one egg so the recipe calls for six pieces of bacon if you're making one egg i have weird pieces of bacon as you can probably tell um we bought some bits and pieces instead so my bacon kind of looks like that so i'm just going to um yes all right i have turned on the heat because i forgot to do that and the pan is mostly hot so i'm gonna put the bacon in now that looks like enough all right and now we let it cook until it's nice and crispy all right that side should be done so let's flip it over put it on a plate like so and then you cut them into pieces um well you know when they're cool enough to hold because otherwise you're going to burn yourself so and they don't have to be perfect just uh enough to cover an egg and now we come back to the stove and we boil some water there's water in here see water that is water i don't know why it's so murky but we're gonna boil that i'm gonna call this boiling and i'm gonna put the egg in for seven minutes if you want to run in your yolk you can put it in for about five six minutes i'm just gonna let it sit there now i forgot to show you this but i softened the cream cheese for about 12 seconds um the first time that i try to do this the recipe doesn't mention to soften the cream cheese at all so like i try to put it around the egg and it was just literally a huge big mess so i recommend that you soften the cream cheese a little bit so that it is easier to encompass the egg and otherwise you are going to be eating a mess and that's not necessarily a bad thing but you know all right so it's been about seven minutes and here comes the fun time i've already ran my egg under the water for about 30 seconds which i shouldn't do because i live in california we're in the middle of a drought so that is irresponsible of me a little egg like you know normal um i suck at peeling eggs so there might be little egg bits on the side of this thing i'm a i'm sure there's a life hack somewhere there we go it's an egg it's beautiful they say take a spatula and encompass the egg with the cream cheese but i don't have a spatula so i'm going to try this thing and i've been using my hands but since i've been like don't be messy i uh thought i would try this just uh try everything at the moment yep i'm just gonna use my hand screw it what i meant by mess was actually that the um cream cheese was so like uncompliant or incompliant or not so compliant however you say that word um that it broke in half on me so like the yolk was running everywhere and down my arm and all over the counter and it was just it was just a bad bad situation so this one is already turning out to be better um i don't know how to use cooking utensils because i suck so i have rewarded to my hands as i have said and it seems to be working a lot better so that's well proper covered i would say now you uh wash your hands and then you take your bacon i think next time i do this i'm gonna try to uh mix the bacon and the cream cheese together because i think there's a consistency problem here all right oh no it broke at some point okay well i guess we're gonna eat another mess who cares so the last time i did this when i did a practice run look much more elegant than this did um but it's still edible i'm gonna eat it so uh so here it goes i'm my favorite thing in the world well you know my favorite name that's really good like it hate it i don't care i like it so i thought i would share it with you guys and um on that note i will see you when i see you bon appetit
