hey guys it's tumbler dollies here and I'll here I have Ally in her leo because she just got from gymnastics deal under pensions if you just got some cosmetics and before she left for gymnastics I did her hair as you can see um so I posted a picture I posted a video of me doing her hair and you guys tended to really like it so I told you guys I would do a tutorial so here's that tutorial on how to do a sock bun oh my girl's hair is really messed up she's was my first dog and then I'm Eric eight American girl for some reason her hair was clipped right here for some reason and I was like really angry and stuff like that but yeah let's get into the video I got an Instagram application so okay so what you need for this tutorial is a sock so with the sock you just want to see you want like the tip of the sock like I have my sock Rahim it's really just cuz you have this tip of the sock right here and you just want to cut that like off so it'll end up like this you can sew yours down but I couldn't find any sewing needle so I didn't sew it down you're gonna need these these hair elastics just got black I didn't get rainbow cuz you're not really gonna be able to see them so there's no point in getting a color you can have a bowl of your choice I just have this bow that I got from Once Upon a child because we were giving some old clothes away and I pick up this bow and then I had this because I was playing with the and I was doing the photo shoot so then I had this flower for your hair and you can in the middle of the bun you can like press it down it's like a flower on your body and you're gonna need a hairbrush I would use a different like I would use the American girl hair brush but I cannot find it so I'm just using this in replace of it so yeah let's get on to the actual okay so first as you can see her hair is really damaged because when what this was actually my first doll I got her in like 2012 but I just got Instagram 33 weeks ago cuz in 2012 I was really young 3 I was 8 so I was 8 when I got her and I just fled on her hair and I did everything you wanted the most to do cuz I didn't really read the thing that came on her wrist exactly I cut it and I stranded it didn't I put it in the shredder and I was like bye bye so what you undo what I usually do brush out this mess right here I just layer on my bed and like I tried my best to get this brush through it so brush it out and as I said that it gave her to me with cut hair for the right this was really exciting when I got her because I was waiting for like two or three weeks when I lived right literally almost right in the air I'm an American Girl store it's like almost two weeks so now what you want to do you want to take all the hair and like this you just want to get a hair elastic I'm pretty sure what these are called and then you want to tie it twice or three times depending on the size and how far it will scratch with this one I think Google three or four it's gonna be four what's your last six can go like five but this one is five yeah and then you want to take evil sock the actual stock and you want to open it like this like scratch it out like this and you want to do just fight the ponytail through in this sock and like scratch the hair out sit down there we go I need you one of those Mira control chairs then you want to take your brush and like like spread it around the sock so you can no longer see any white like this would look something like this to where you can see not like no white at all then you just want to take a hair elastic and only put it on once you can put on multiple if you like but I usually put on like two or one sometimes one and the last so cuz sometimes there's like these really tight ones that would last like just one and yeah then you have all this hair right here you're not gonna be this like I know most of you do that but I think it looks good so you want to like take it from the front and pin it into the bun like that pin it like actually under it see try not to get in my face in the camera because that would be bad and I'll have to start all over so this is what it should look like once you're done I will put a like a little outro clip to in the end so you can actually see it so it should look like this in the back here's what I usually do I don't always put my bows in the front because I think that much but so I put them in the back I think the back look more the back when it's in the back it's more tumblr because that's what my camp is all about the tumblr American Girl dolls you know so here that is
