howdy mums and dads I'm woody howdy howdy howdy and in this tutorial I'm going to show you how to be a hero and fix those precious pieces of plastic this is poor little old buzz and he lost his arm and an intergalactic mission in the hallway and I love fixing toys for kids because they learned that fixing is an option that that fix-it that when something breaks it's not the end of the world that we can stick buzzes arm back on and you can fight many more puzzles so this tutorial is pretty pretty simple and all you need is toilet paper scotch tape or masking tape one pack of sugru and this is okay let's get started and cut open the mini pack of sugru just follow the dotted lines peel open the foil and pop out the suger need suger in your fingers for a few seconds and you're good to go and for this repair this fix I would suggest squeezing the sugar into a sausage about the circumference of of Buzz's arm joint and press suber onto his arm like this okay buzz and press Honda is going to look like a complete mess at this stage but don't worry because it's going to get tidy as we go align the arm where it should be and press into position and firmly just press buzzes arm firmly onto the housing and the suger will squeeze out in the crack and that's what you want to happen once that's done press the sugru against the plastics so you have two different parts of classical you want to do spread the suger over both of them and this will give you a good bond to both parts and hold it all together really really well and actually something you should know if you don't know su group it's perfect for this because well for several reasons it will fill the gaps and when it cures it cures into a silicone rubber a tough silicon rubber so that there's a little bit of flex in it and but it's also really tough and durable when you think you've got a good finish and you can leave it to cure a really important tip when with buzz is that Subaru takes 24 hours to cure and you need to leave it somewhere away from kids so they don't yank his arm off too soon so put it up somewhere high or in a cupboard out of reach and and if the part is okay okay and if super sticks your fingers just use the toilet paper give it a quick wipe off it comes and yes if the arm or the part you're fixing is sort of hanging out like this and might want to dilemma Nate your separate during the cure time use the scotch tape or the masking tape to hold it in place while it cares so a quick piece of tape like this just gently put it on there will help hold it in place while it cures and see you in 24 hours it's 24 hours later I'm still dressed like this time to check out buzz I'm going to remove the unidirectional bondage strip all right buzz okay and let's see how this goes what do you think buzz yes let's move I think it's pretty good I am Buzz Lightyear you are a toy okay thanks for watching don't forget that tab Babu thank you for watching don't forget to check out suru Calm for more tips tricks tricks tutorials and stuff and how to save other precious pieces of plastic like printers and fridges and other stuff you can't live without to infinity and beyond we do have a galaxy to save we do fix one thing keep on fixing folks we have a galaxy to save wise words buzz
