hey guys welcome back to another stitch video this morning what we're going to do today is going to be called the puff cluster trellis stitch now what i want you to do is to go ahead and chain up you're working in multiples of six plus two and then you're gonna add three for the base uh chain so i want you to chain up seventeen uh chains for me and then for round one you're gonna single crochet in the fifth from your ch from your hook one two three four five so you're gonna single crochet in the fifth chain from your hook okay then you're gonna chain three you're gonna skip two and then you're going to single crochet in that next chain now you're going to repeat that so chain three skip two and single crochet chain three skip two single crochet chain three skip two and that should bring you to the end with a single crochet okay this is what you're going to have for your first row now your second row we're gonna chain three and turn all right so first thing you're gonna do is you're gonna do a single crochet in the next chain three arch which is here you're going to go inside here okay and you're going to do a single crochet then you're going to chain three then you're going to do three half double crochets together in the next arch now i do have a video teaches you how to work your stitches together i'll do the first one slowly for you so you'll pick that back up in your memory so you're going to yarn over go inside the arch pull up pull through two yarn over grab your yarn pull up pull through two and do the same process three times okay so you're gonna have actually four hoops on your hook so you're gonna yarn over and you're gonna pull uh through all three of those okay so once you've done that you're gonna do three chains and then you're gonna single crochet in the next arch so you're gonna jump over here to the next arch and do a single crochet now you're going to repeat that chain three for the piece we have you're going to jump over here and you're going to do your three half double crochets together so there's two okay you have four on that hook yarn over and pull through all of those and then you're going to do a chain three then you're going to do a single crochet in that end okay so now you're making your puff stitches your clusters here okay row three you're going to chain three and you're going to turn let me undo some yarn here so you've got your three you're going to do one single crochet into the next chain three arch which is here okay now what you want to do is uh you're going to chain three you're going to repeat this all the way across and then you're going to do one single crochet in the next chain three arch chain three one single crochet in the next chain three arch chain three so you're basically making another foundation row so you're just doing that all the way to the end and you'll end with a single crochet okay now for um round four we're going to chain up three one two three and you're going to turn you're going to half double crochet three together in the next chain three arch so basically you're just going to repeat semi semi repeat what we did in row two so you're going to do three together okay just like i'm doing here then you want four hoops left on your hook all right so then you're gonna yarn over you're gonna pull through all three chain three and then you're going to do one single crochet in the next arch which is right here you're kind of locking that arch into place okay then you're going to repeat that so chain three jump to your next arch and do your three half doubles together oops you end up with four on this case five on on your hoo on your hook because you have this one chain three then you're going to jump over here and do that single crochet and you will have a half double crochet three together in your turn and chain so when you come right here you're still going to uh complete that there but let's chain our three first and then you're going to go into here for your three half double crochet together so one row you're going to end in a single crochet one row you're going to end in three half double crochet together okay now your final row your fifth row wants you to work it as row three okay so then you're going to chain three and you're going to turn and then you're going to just do a single crochet in the next chain arch space and then you're just going to chain three or actually you did a single crochet in that chain arch sorry then you're going to chain three jump to your next arch and do a single crochet chain three jump over to the next arch and do a single crochet chain three jump over single crochet chain three and in that last one you do want to add that single crochet all right so basically this stitch pattern consists of five rows then you're going to go back and you're going to repeat rows two three four and then you'll go back to three and you'll just keep working that pattern so um this is what your you see the little uh puff clusters there it's really a beautiful stitch especially if you use it in a color changing yarn um there are certain stitches that i believe just come out so much better in a color changing yarn and this is one of them so if you stretch that out a bit look how beautiful that pattern is it's like sporadic they're evenly spaced across okay almost looks like uh that that uh chocolate strawberry vanilla ice cream doesn't it okay guys uh just trying to put a smile on some faces this morning so uh this is again your puff cluster trellis stitch hope you enjoyed
