all right here we go this is for everybody wants to know how we do this this is color blender it is base coat that is got no color in it called base coat blender we're mixing metal flake in this to spray the car alright I've already figured it out 1 tablespoon of flake is about 9 grams so 50 + 52 grams about the max you want to put in a quart of your blender so we're going to get a level tablespoon this is oh oh for metal flake right here we're putting two of them in we're going to stir this up look see how it changes to the color of the flake that's what you call micro flake you can shoot it through a 1.3 tip gun just fine but I'm going for full coverage so I'm going to add point zero zero eight metal flake and I'm going to put four of these in so I'll be right around 50 grams or a little over there's two and I'm shooting all this out of a 1.8 tip with the with the double-o 8 metal flake you need the bigger tip it will go through a 0.15 tip but I want better coverage it seems to flow better and come out better through a 1/8 I'll be using this double bliss gun with a 1/8 tip we're gonna put 2 more in here this is got no hardener in it it's just painted it was already thin 50/50 just like you would your normal thing there we go I'm going to mix it up good and if you have some extra you can put it back in your can to save it to shoot another day we got pretty good that's what you want you want about a full sheet of that coming off of us almost a solid sheet with a little bit of space we're putting this over a black base coat it will be four to five coats to do it you don't want to use clear because you will build up clear clears a lot thicker this is just a spin I put two coats of base thin coat of sealer and it's about 3:30 in the morning right now and we're having fun look at that that's how you do it and don't get in a hurry you want to put a couple nuts in your paint gun cup to keep it agitated this is something that I had saved from the last time I shot it's in there I shook it up just as good as the day I've mixed it you want your filter out of your gun otherwise it will clog up you don't filter this you pour it straight in just like that you want to make sure this is all mixed up and I'll try to do some painting with show you how this goes on with each coat I can't this is just foam so and my battery's probably getting love you want it mixed up good it's enough to give us a cow [Applause] you got off bare with me [Applause] you just proved about 29,000 err no what's my coat I gotta put this down now you got the idea
