really right having a great day thanks for stopping by and welcome to what I dog bartending what I do here is show you how I build drinks the way that I do things and the recipes that I use well we just finished it up it was a busy night tonight we had a lot of my tires going out so that's what I'm going to share with you you know when I first started bartending a long time ago I wanted to use original recipes so when my search for the mai tai I found this one at a mai tai bar and grill at a hotel in Hawaii now there are two people who claim to have created the my time don the beachcomber in the 30s and trader Vic in the 40s depending on who you talk to as it turns out the one that I found and have been using this whole time is what it looks like it's the one from don the beachcomber they are both different I will show you the other one in a future video though what you're going to need for this one is some white rum orange Curacao grenadine orange juice pineapple juice amaretto and some Meyers dark rum all right let's do this it's a blessing is some ice in glass jars go alright we are going to one three quarters of an ounce of the white rum we're going to want a half ounce of the orange Curacao spill it everywhere we want to have bounced of the grenadine we want to half ounce of the amaretto you want about an ounce of the orange juice we want about an ounce of the pineapple juice and we're going to want a nice float of the meijer dark rum okay I'll do that dissolution awesome I already have an orange with a couple of cherries here ready for garnish put that up in their rights they are not be orange do that thing hmm the hell cut this orange there we go there is Thank You crowd all right it's life straw in there nice and easy get that straw in there freaking organs and jerrys like that yeah Thank You crowd you really need to give this one a try it's a nice tasty drink have a safe happy positive days
