hi welcome back to another wafer paper tutorial today I'm going to show you how I made my Reaper people emails using the I seen images wafer paper you can go ahead and check out their selection of wafer paper or any of their other products down below the link and let's get started so basically what I did was I just cut out a wafer paper that was a perfect square one semi perfect and any size would work and I'm just using my measuring mat here so that way my square can be you know somewhat perfect once I've cut out all the squares that I want to use I start making slits going from the side of the pointed edges so you don't want to go all the way from the middle to the end you want to start semi halfway from the middle and going in a diagonal and you want to do that to all four corners and it's easier if you find your Center like I said I'm using my measuring mat here which is helping me find my Center easier and helping me make sure that my lines going from semi center in a diagonal to the corners are just about the same length and then you're going to use a little bit of water remember a little bit of water goes a long way with wafer paper so use a little bit of water you can dab it in the middle of your windmill or you can dab it on the corners that you're going to fold over now what's corners you use you're going to use every other corner so as you can see I'm using every other corner on the same side so I'm using my right corners and again I'm just using a very small touch of water for each corner you don't want to add too much water because what I end up happening is you're layering wave your paper on top of each other with added water on it it'll tend to eat the wafer paper and create a hole and you don't want that so again like I said I'm doing all four corners like you know right corner by right corner until I get that windmill effect now I'm just using my plain white wafer paper you can use the ice and images colored wafer paper you can even print on this and you type design or you can airbrush a design or colors on them if you'd like or do any type of design on them so I'm just doing this just to show you how to make a windmill the coloring is totally up to you and I'm showing you another example of how I created a smaller one meal and at the shape that you'll see at the end you'll see that I even created tinier ones the single squares here on my map so you're able to fold the wafer paper even that's not even that tiny so just remember to be very careful because wafer paper can crumble and crunch and crack so you just want to kind of take your time go section by section don't freak out you can we start over it's really super simple and easy and I love this effect especially for the summertime it's perfect for fourth of July cakes now when you're finished with your windmill you can put something in the center of it you can use well I seeing you can create any fondant little pearl what not I have actually used some pearls that I got from the cake store and some draw J's and I'm just you can add a little bit of royal icing on them and put them in the center so yeah and that's it so I hope you enjoyed this super easy tutorial on how to use ice and images wafer paper to make paper wooden heels I hope you all had a wonderful happy 4th of July and spent it very responsibly and I can't wait to see your cakes I hope you liked this tutorial be sure to subscribe to my channel and hit that like button down below if you didn't like it multi-shot use no touch in French just hit that like button and go ahead and follow me on instagram yes underscore ma'am i just wear sweets don't forget to subscribe i'm trying to get to 2,000 subscribers before the end of july thanks so much
