if we find some Oriel mushrooms I want to go on on mushroom hi today if we can find something I want you guys to see the first one I found here today I want you to notice how that thing blends in with with the earth but you can see it right there it is that's pretty nice mushroom so I'm going to take that one leave that bottom part right there I turn the ground come back next year and you can pick that same mushroom all over again so that's pretty nice mushroom we're going down the ridge here about two and a half miles from here I think I can come up with some mushrooms if I do that so we'll go on now that's a nice looking mushroom our guys if I do say so fellers in the spring of the year out here in half lachen mountains we got some mushrooms growing and they're called morel mushrooms these little fellers I guess they don't have that too much nutritional value to them but they will fill your stomach up and I guess make you feel like you're full but these are delicious mushrooms I'm gonna take these home with me and I'm gonna mix up some ramps and chop me up some garlic and uh put a little bit of butter in a skillet and I'm going to eat these things in anyway Morreale mushroom comes up in this time of the year it's this is April here and it's about the 15th of April and these things are growing now and they got about it I'm probably about a month to grow and I thought I'd come out and get some and show them to you guys now where I found these growing you can look at my surroundings here I met a pretty nice pretty little place got a little creek going by you can hear it running there but the mushrooms that I have found I have found them growing mostly under hickory trees and under poplar trees now I don't know if that makes any difference or not but if you get on the internet you'll see where people will say well you know when the red buds are blooming then the mushrooms are going and now I know that the red bump the red buds are growing and I do know that the mushrooms are growing so these were on the south-facing slope here in the mountains so well when you're out there and you're hungry and you need something eat especially in the spring of the year always look for your green stuff like wild onions and I will be doing a green herb type video here in just a few days when this stuff starts coming up real good but like I said I'm going to take these home and mix them with some ramps that I've got growing in the backyard they're hardly any ramps growing in this section of the my world anymore the I guess the old folks the Indians and stuff has a them all out anyway these armorial mushrooms be careful know what you're eating of course know what they look like once again there it is Morial mushrooms guys be careful out there and that's another tip from your bland county Survivorman have a nice day
