today we're going to push our RM it's going to go spy foot wide unit first thing we want to do is check our parts make sure we have everything that's not damaged and we do if to sidetracks the head piece into the bottom track and of course the directions and the loose pieces what I like to do is unbag all these pieces lay them on on the vanity first close that drain so anything does it pull down and sink you lose it and I do follow the directions even after 30 years of putting this and of being in construction every one of these doors can be a little different so I do refer the difference once you cut it short you're going to have to work new parts this particular door system sides go on first both sides that's going to be the length of my bottom track and we do have everything rollers bottom guide rubber bumpers and the hardware to mount the tower now these kids come with plastic mollies but I don't automatically use them right off the bat depends on the application if it's ceramic tile I'm going to be I'll use them but on these fiberglass units there's usually backing behind the sides so I'll drill a small hole first to see if there is if there is then I'll just use the screw alone and that gives the busted line so here we go we're going to cut the bottom rail cut to length and I'm going to mount the sides now check the sides I'm going to measure so my track is parallel to the tub sides on the threshold of the shower okay we're going to measure for the head and now we're going to cut the top rail too late of course you can use a hacksaw I like going this way it's a precision cut run a bead clear silicone on the bottom Trish hold it down to the tongue or down shower floor to mark some room here and whether that goes back in and set up my marks this particular door gets a rubber bumper top and bottom and the doors now the doors have a smooth side which you want that to go to the inside of the shower and then they've got surface that's little rougher so you always want the smooth side and towards the shower so we're going to knock these wheels right here first door on just one opposite check to see how it fits against the wall jams just door will fit outside your top of these door slides you can move the rollers a little closer to the bottom so moving on the bottom I'm going to raise the roller Houston with the towbar zone we're going to put the guy diem on the bottom track I just closed the doors up slide the guy diem split the difference between the two doors push it take to the bottom track comes with drilling screws one on either side we're ready to the durian cup size in and using clear silicone you don't see the condom and we're all done all tucked in you should probably wait at least 12 hours before using it but that Silicon get a chance to drive and that's alright
