hey loves welcome back to my channel today I'm going to show you how to make a square nail tip into coffin shape okay so you see I'm going to be doing this on my little practice finger I'm using just regular clear square tips you want to always make sure your tip fits your nail sidewall to sidewall so first step I'm going to cut the length that I want and then I'm going to go ahead and cut each side at an angle okay and I usually do this off of my nail just like this in my hand because in case I messed up I don't want it to be glued to my nail okay and this was giving me a little trouble doing it with these scissors I couldn't find my good pair so I just finished off camera but you can see I did the exact same thing I just want to cut each side at an angle and then this is where you will go ahead and apply your tip to your nail okay so I just go ahead and glue it on and sometimes if you don't have like a really fast drying glue you want to wait a little bit because if you go ahead and start filing it will fall off so you can tell but I pause the video let it dry a little and then now I'm going to go in with my 100 100 grit file and I'm just going to rotate back and forth side to side you can see that pretty much the shape is already there and it's just now going to sharpen up the sides and make sure it's even and they're both like at the same angle but pretty much that's all you do you go ahead and just shape it up a little bit and then you can go ahead and make sure the tip is nice and straight and that's basically it you have your coffin shape nail and this is in case you don't have the little tips you want to do it this way and that's it thank you so so much for watching I hope this helped some of you and don't forget to subscribe if you haven't all ready I'll see in the next one bye
