Please explain how to open a carefree rv awning

it's running right now yeah okay we're gonna open up the awning the first thing we do is come up and open these safety latches there's one on each side so this has got to be pushed up there's also a knob on the back they have to be loosened turning it on if you're on the right turning it down and it's got to be loose so those that has to be done on both sides of the awning so come over here the safety latch on the side has to be opened lift it up and the knob again turning it down on the right side has got to be loosened up so now the awning arms are free to move inside each other okay so we're we're pretty much ready to open the awning now there is a safety latch a big kind of pull switch that has to be moved this has to be moved up and it's going to move that arm up top there so it moves there so you're going to see a fluorescent orange means it is in the unlocked position i believe and now it is ready to pull out so grabbing the strap up here i pull this out give it a good pull and it should come out if it's not if it stops rolling out it means you don't have either the safety latches open or the knobs have not been loosened you pull it all the way down until you see the inside of the aluminum arm okay so now what we got to do is lift the awning up so these arms have to slide up their tracks it's like a little track in here it slides up all the way to the top until it clips in and we do the same to the other side we move this all the way up until it clips in okay so now we're ready to move the awning on this is the part you got to be a little careful of because sometimes it doesn't catch when you do this so i i've got my hand here and i'm going to pull with this hand i'm going to open up this lever here pull the lever up and now i'm going to pull the awning i'm going to let this lever down and now i'm going to let it slide down a bit this arm until it clips in slips into one of these little holes making sure that i see the little pin from this handle has slipped into one of those holes and i do the same to the other side it's back one here that is the one that's the hardest to do again i'm pulling this handle lifting this up and now i want to make sure that one side is quite a bit higher than the other for rain so i'm going to pull this one up higher i'm going to close the handle let it slide down looking here inside i can see this pink making sure that that pin is popped through okay the last thing we got to do is tighten these up here because if not it rattles when the wind at and i'm night to tighten it i sometimes give it a little pull here down on the arm so that it expands this out and tighten it up and that's about it
