all right today we have a Samsung Galaxy s4 with one of the tempered screen protectors on it and this tempered spring screen protector is actually cracked in two locations down here do the due to the phone being dropped so we're going to take the screen protector off today and swap it out with a new screen protector now any of you have tried to do this before you can verify just how difficult it is to get the screen protector up now I can dig my fingernail in on the corner on this one and I was lucky enough to get it up just ever so slightly as I'm doing that you can see how it's starting to peel up there at the edge when I get down to the part where it's cracked that thing is going to just start snapping off another option is you can take a gift card or a credit card and stick it under there and then that will help you just slide that thing right off here those cracks happen there we go now unfortunately in this case this phone actually does have a cracked screen now and that was a cat so we are going to be replacing the screen protector over the top of this one but looks like that crack is there to stay so that's unfortunate you might actually have to find some professional support to try to get that cleared out later in the meantime show you the screen protector here so while it is the tempered glass you can see it out it spidered there as you bent it this part down here it did crack but it also cracked the phone underneath so it wasn't good enough be very careful with your phones even if you have these tempered glass screen protectors the glass underneath it can still crack so I just wanted to make sure you guys are aware of that and that's unfortunate because it's a pretty expensive phone it's my wife's so we're going to have to do something about that but now you can definitely see the you know the cracks the spidering of this right here but how all the pieces still stay together they don't shatter and then form a bunch of little pieces all over the ground that can cut people and stuff like that so that's a good part about these screen protectors as well so anyways that's how we pull it off
