hello guys in this video i'm going to show you how to make delicious yummy palak dal the ingredients required for this recipe are one cup of dwar dal the powdered spices required are 1 teaspoon of salt 1 teaspoon of coriander powder and a pinch of turmeric 1 tablespoon of oil for tadka i'm using 1 teaspoon of mustard seeds cumin seeds 3 red chillies and 1 teaspoon of urad dal dal is just for making the recipe more crunchy and it's optional 1 teaspoon of ghee it is also optional 2 onions and 1 tomato 5 green chilies so you can use around 3 or 4 green chillies i am using 6 green chillies here to make it more spicy 1 teaspoon of ginger garlic paste some curry leaves and 3 bunches of palak place the cooker on the stove add 1 tablespoon of oil now let's add the ingredients for tadka as mentioned before now let's add the onions after adding onions add 1 teaspoon of ginger-garlic paste now you have to fry till the onions turn translucent and the ginger-garlic smell goes away keep frying till the mixture gets dry for around 5 minutes now let us add the puree made up of 1 tomato and 5 green chilies to this mixture now mix them properly till the tomato puree gets cooked next let us add some curry leaves next i'm adding 1 teaspoon of ghee which is also optional this will make the recipe taste delicious and once you are done it smells awesome i have chopped and kept palak or spinach aside now we are going to add spinach you have to fry till the spinach turns dark green in color next i'm going to add the powdered spices which is one teaspoon of salt coriander powder and a pinch of turmeric fry for around 3 minutes till the powdered spices gets cooked now add 1 cup of tur dal fry for a minute so that this dal gets coated with the mixture add 2 cups of water pressure cook till you get 5 whistles in the cooker so my dear friends palak dal or spinach dal is ready to be served with hot rice or hot rotis hope you enjoyed watching my video thank you for watching all indian food recipes please subscribe for more videos
