[Laughter] hello welcome back to classic crafting on parcels today I have a DIY for you it is the paperclip our decorative paper clip I should say embellishment for your planners pocket letter and bookmarking so I have gold paper clips in some too you so I cut the tool about 12 inches long and I just fold it in half and then I folded them in about one and a half to two inches and I kept just layering it and then I just kind of play with it a little bit and bring it in like a little flower horeb oh I should say pinch in the fabric and make it kind of like a bow and then with your choice of ribbon you just wrap it around and you take some hot glue and secure it to the actual tool and then the ribbon bolter I'm using those little um finger earth I use the paperclip and I just kind of feed it through the ribbon and satiric underneath so that I think the hot glue and I put the ribbon over top that way the paperclip and the ribbon are secured rather than not attaching it I guess to the other part of the paperclip I actually secure it to the paperclip those not going anywhere I took the Dollar Tree I love these little rhinestone stickers they're just gorgeous I took them and cut just the little flower out so you'll want to be sure that you use the full flower cut it out and then you can put it over top the ribbon just give it a little bit more dimension or character there's a picture so cute with a little bling and then instead of using just the adhesive from the sticker pad I made sure to hot glue it down yeah make sure when you're when you're fixing the embellishment to the paperclip that you have the the paperclip the right side down and right side up however you want to say it so I kind of point that out there and make sure that you're working with the fabric on the opposite end of the paperclip so there you're going to take this tool here and fold it in half and then speed it all the way through the paperclip and then make a little opening and feed it through again and pull the fabric nice and tight then you have an option here you can put some jewels you don't have to put anything at all you can put I made a little bowl on the other one and so you can put a little dab of hot glue there and attach one of the jewels again these jewels are from the Dollar Tree they were I believe from the assorted pack and it's not from any sort of path but it was from the more like fiend colored bag that were like purples and pinks and long blues and greens in another and then I took some of the little pearl stickers again from the Dollar Tree and what I'm going to do is I don't want this fabric to be separated I want to make it look like it's one piece so I'm joining the two pieces together with some hot glue but then you don't want the hot glue to be visible so I took one of the little pearl beads on one end and then exactly on the opposite end I connected it with the other one so it looks like a little circle embellishment or a little bead embellishment you would never notice it now there the fabric is stuck together and going anywhere thanks I love just as one piece rather than the tuba dealing I love the fill tool once a chef so sweet I love touching them they feel so soft and I don't know the fabric is really nice so there I go with the grade tool I'm going to make another one that's about 12 inches long and then you'll take the fabric cut it in half and then just fold it over so one and a half to two inches and width and keep folding it until you run out of fabric and then pinch it together I hope you enjoy these types of videos I find them very I find making your little embellishments very stress-free and I hope that you do too and that these inspire you to make something at home I've used the gold paper clips that I purchased at Dollar Emma here in Canada you I did use some of the pastel ones I hauled from the Dollar Tree there with some blue and yellow pink ones and purple and you'll see there with all of the little green bow I've used the little yellow pastel paper clip it's more like a metal coated one I really love the gold paper clips with these embellishments but any paper clip will do for sure even just a nice plain white one and there again is a little bit of ribbon to secure the little tool bow I guess and I'm going to search for a little jewel from the Dollarama all that I need there I got a little flower and you can put it on the tool you can hot glue it onto the tool looks cute or if I'm just dabbing it there on this on the corner top corner of the ribbon to get it a little bling there you go and I'm showing you here in your planner ease and put on the side that's the recollections planner from Michaels all right happy Erin Condren up until the new year and then I moved over the recollections and so cute those colors too I didn't even realize that when I was making the little embellishments the colors coordinate very well well I guess they're pretty generic in the planner but the colors go so nicely -
