Please explain how to make a pomegranate margarita (serve it with guacamole topped with pomegranate seeds)

hi I'm Aviva Goldfarb with a six o'clock scramble and welcome to the bar so one of the things I love to do is make cocktails for our friends and the most popular and most requested cocktail that I make is a spicy pomegranate margarita you like everything else we like to do it's super easy what we have to do this is it for two servings we're going to use two ounces of tequila and I tend to go with a Blanco a white tequila there we go and then we're going to use one ounce of orange liqueur there we go and then four ounces of pomegranate juice then the only thing we have left to do is add some fresh lime juice which is essential in my opinion for a good margarita and we're going to squeeze that right in there when you pick limes little tip look four limes that are very thin-skinned not the thick skinned ones the thin skinned ones tend to be juicier and we want our lime juice that you don't we what we're going to do is we're going to give that a little stir but we're not quite done yet we're going to give that a little stir putting it over ice in these fun glasses that some friends who like my margaritas brought us you can see we have a little bit more than two but we'll probably end up finishing those up then I have a jalapeno that I just picked from our herb garden so they start out green they turn red either ways fine green or red I think they get a little spicier as they turn redder I'm just taking my serrated knife and making pretty little slices of this gorgeous multicolored jalapeno and that is going to give it our spicy kick so if you make some of this in advance add a couple of the jalapenos to the to the drink mix before but otherwise it's pretty just to have that little jalapeno floating on top serve it with something fun and festive like I made some homemade guacamole I put garlic powder and cumin and lime and salt in there and then to echo the pomegranate theme we have these wonderful chips and veggies to dip in the guacamole but we have some pomegranate seeds or they're actually called actually called Errol's and we're going to put those right on top of the guacamole and they actually go so well together Joan Nathan who's a famous cookbook author and a friend of mine taught me that trick and I love the combination of pomegranate seeds and guacamole so remember if you like this video and you like my margaritas don't forget to give it a thumbs up leave a comment and subscribe to the channel so you won't miss any of our upcoming videos because we have some awesome stuff planned and remember you are never too busy to eat or drink 12 hi happy October it is aviva both are with the six o'clock scramble and october of course means it is Halloween season which is such a fun holiday it's always been one of my favorites
