hi I'm going to show you how to make your own homemade um ant mode you're going to look like this see that's a coffee cup hook on one end of a pink cap any color color of a pink cap will work and there's a cork inside there with a hook okay right here I bought a bunch of these in a package at a craft store I bought mine at Michaels and then I have a package of these these are can see what I'm doing here this is a coffee cup hook okay I've got this black paint can lid see how there's a hole right here okay we're going to start right here and you're going to see that little hold it there and then we're going to screw it in there it goes okay so it's in nice and flat and we flip it over and you're going to see the other end from there then we take this and eyeball like we'll try to get it in the center just through think I've got it in the middle then you take that cork and you keep screwing it inside that coffee cup hook okay it's in I could feel it and then you take the other coffee cup and you're going to go right in the middle kind of push in and turn see how it's going in there okay it's in so we want it you can keep it this way like that me I like it this way so I can see because I'm short to take out the the hook okay and so that way you can place it like like this here's the feeder and then when you hang this you have to fill it up with water so this is an ant mode that's how easy okay I've been gone for a couple of days and I filled all my feeders up but when I came home because it's hot and sunny here in California see this it this is one of my aunt modes and it evaporated see the ants inside because there was nobody here to keep it filled with water and because it evaporated I got this look at those ants they're inside enter around the portholes so that's why we make these at modes to these homemade ant mugs right here and keep them full of water when we hang them up on a shepherd's hook or whatever and there's some ants on top and these that you see in a store is poison these are a no-no we don't like to use these and they sell other ant modes in the stores but they're really expensive I think like $7 but if you got some pink and pink and lids laying around you can make your own hat modes keep and that's all I gotta say is Dex that needs to be cleaned and that beer and then I can't see what I'm doing in here see that so it's ready hang this part up on the shepherd's hook put your feet on the bottle and then fill it up with water that's all you got to do save you some money and you don't have to use that we do not use petroleum jelly on our Shepherd's hooks it harms the hummingbirds okay thank you bye
