okay now to take a trailer off a trailer hitch you just lower the trailer jack so it's secure no right you don't want to put any tension on the trailer ball just want to secure you disconnect the lights you just connect the safety chain and you want to make sure that you do this that you're not on the incline so when you lift the trailer it doesn't take off and roll on if you happen to be on some type of inclined you can chock the wheels make sure it doesn't roll you take out safety pins you raise these trailer ball secure latch and then you slowly raise the trailer up until it is cleared the ball sometimes it gets stuck you may have to push on it slightly or you could lift it but and once it's high enough then you can you just pull the vehicle away or in the case of the jet ski just roll it
