today we're going to look at another advanced strength figure this one is an Eskimo figure that represents a fishing net okay to do this string figure we're going to need a long loop of string and we're just going to start with the loop string across our palms and then we're going to pick up the palm strings with our pointer fingers then we want to go with our thumbs over the new pointer finger string and pick up the flower and pull that back with our middle fingers we want to pick up the far thumb string and pull that back drop the thumbs and now we just want to pull down the near pointer finger string and collect the far little finger string from underneath pull that one down flick the far little finger string pull it back with our thumbs then we can drop the pointer fingers and then I just want to take the middle finger string and place it on to the little finger without twisting both hands should now have something that looks like that now I want to take both of those strings that are on the little finger and replace them onto the pointer fingers so I'll pick them both up this time and put them on to the pointer finger on one hand and then on the other now I want to transfer the thumb loops onto my middle ring and little finger on both hands so I'll do that by pushing those three fingers into the thumb loops from below and pulling my thumb's out now comes the most difficult maneuver of the whole string figure or one of the most difficult maneuvers I want to pull the top far pointer finger strength through this bottom hole here with my thumbs and I'm going to do that by pushing my thumb's through the hole collecting the far top pointer finger string by pushing it out with my thumbs pulling it back through that hole so I'll show you that again push the thumb through push the far pointer finger string out pull it back through the hole and now the little finger string should be that straight string that you see here what I want to do is collect that with my thumbs from behind pull that through and then drop my three fingers little ring and middle on both hands and again I want to put those three fingers through the thumb loops and drop my thumbs to transfer them across now I'm going to use my thumb's this time to pick up the pointer finger strings both of them so I insert them into the pointer finger loops drop the pointer fingers I'm going to use my pointer finger to push down the lower thumb string then the remaining top thumb string I'm going to pinch in between my pointer finger middle finger and then push it through that hole by rotating my hand forward and collecting it onto my pointer finger and dropping the thumb and then that is the Inuit net
