I'm not going to move the spiritum another enables to remove the towels from the bike we're not going to put this back in for a few days because we're going to towel at the back of it before we put the new bass and backing so that's going to involve taking the basin out and capping off the water supply this particular bit is fixed to the wall with two screws going through the back there and two screws in the pedestal at the bottom so the first thing we need to do is disconnect the taps so before you disconnect the taps you need to turn the water supply off so I turned off the incoming stopped up to the proper tip which is salt the water from coming through eat it up because we're a comedy system here so soon you turn the main isolation valve off it stops the art and the cold water so I'm going to use this bit and then I'm going to undo the knots of secure the taps to the pipework and now we need to undo the waist which is that plastic not there and if you look at the bottom of the pedestal there you can see one of the screws that sold in the pedestal to the floor so we need to remove those two screws and then to screw it each side of the basin holding it to the wall so we need to remove those so we're now going to cut the bead of silicone now we can gently prise the bit S&OP and we've now got the basin although we've got a few tiles with it as well obviously if you're not retail in your bath it needs to be a lot more careful when you're taking your base and out so we're just going to move these earthing clumps and I'll actually fit new ones later on when we've read pipes of the new bearson so now if you're moved a bit and we need to cut off the water supply so we can turn it back on to the rest of the alves and one of the best ways of doing it is using a push fit stop and line up and these are absolutely brilliant and it's probably the easiest way to capping off any water supply so obviously you need to get the correct size one and this is a 15 mil and this is a 15 mil pay so we're just going to cut the pipe off using the pipe slice now listening to deburr it so once your feed birthday pie all you do is take push-fit stop end and push that on there down a foot and once it what push it was in there meant the stainless steel clad ring grab the pie and there's not a chance of that coming off again until you release the grab in and if you want to remove these all you need to do is turn off the water so there's no pressure in the pipe and then open it down storage tap to drain the pipe then all you do is take your fingers underneath press in the middle each ring and lift off and that's how easy it is you
