hi I'm Heidi Borchers I have a sweet vintage rose fairy flower pot to share with you today and i'm using the aleene's tacky glue this is the original lens tacky glue it's an all-purpose glue and it's in the gold bottle i'm also using the aleene's spray sealer in the matte finish it's a spray-on sealer let me show you what I did I'm using just some paper doilies and I found I wanted a thickness for my textures so I've got three different or three of the same doilies that I'm going to glue together first thing I'm gonna do is put some of my aleene's tacky glue out on my work surface I'm using a cardboard for squeegee we're gonna lift up and just squeegee that glue in there and try not to let it move too much put the next piece down let's mix one down and you want to try and keep them as even as possible now I like to keep the clothespin on it and we're just gonna cut this right now because that's probably all we need for this first piece again turn it over squeegee the glue on and then just put it on to the pot and just adjust it and you want to let that dry completely and I have one here that's already dry so let it dry and then you're gonna paint the whole thing black and then just paint it and it takes a couple different layers of the paint and just start to to put it on and it really is a little bit more of a dry brush and layering and I don't even always wash my brush I just go to the next color and just continue layering color on color on color until you have this look here now to make the fairy little fairy add-on you're going to use brown bag and this is my pattern I made out of cereal box this is what you're going to have in the brown bag when you do several layers I use some gift wrap paper for my butterfly wings a face that you can make it out of polymer clay some old jewelry and some little bread dough roses that I painted it's a very sweet look just glue it on to your pot the aleene's tacky glue the original Lean's tacky glue in the gold bottle and the aleene's spray sealer is available at michaels a very sweet project it's terrifically tacky and creatively cool you
