okay this is my 91 Explorer and this video is inspired by the Africa the Volvo and it's not just this mod so I always wanted a custom chime and I got it all figured out and this is what I did so let me just shut the door and it stops you're not gonna open the door and it starts over and you know I can change the song store like a minute and a half so I want to show you what I did this is it I don't even have it mounted really I just got shoved in this hole so here's the factory chime I actually was gonna solder to some part of the board let's see yeah I was going to solder to probably that the spot labeled twelve to this ground pen but I realized that the hot wire coming to this is actually only hot to the plug when the door is open so I use any of the circuitry for this because I didn't want this thing playing at all times really I just wanted as the door open chime and you know that's what it is so super easy to vampire clips onto the fondant the positive and then actually you know I yeah I'm on the black wire so I mean it's just ground and then hot and this is only hot whenever the doors open so it works easy and this thing I got off Amazon I'll provide a link in the description of what I got and you can add this mod your car fairly easy especially if it's an explorer but you know I imagine that this is a pretty simple thing to do on other cars you just got to figure out which wire you need and you know listen for the box so you can locate that anyways good good luck everyone you know and actually one thing I forgot to mention is that it has this cool little USB port so you just plug it in your computer download the software for free from the manufacturer and you know depending on your date coat here you either are able to upload a 30-second song or a minute and 30 second song and I've actually got a minute and about a minute recorded no for $16 or $17 it was a pretty awesome modification and I hope this helps anyone else anyone else I hope this helps anyone else out there that might be trying to accomplish the same thing
