hi we're going to make fennel tea today now yes you can buy it in a tea bag but then if you buy them the tea bag that's all you can do with it and fennel is a great great great spice for cooking with - for fish it's divine it's also really delicious with squash so I like the idea of a twofer with this so we're going to make fennel tea just using fennel seed now you need to just grind it a little bit and I'm just going to use that at the end of my knife just to crush it just a little bit it's really just to bruise the seeds we can smell it too oh it smells really good okay so now I'm just going to tip it into this up this is just a little tiny fine mesh tea strainer you can put it straight into the cup but you know to save on mess or if you have one of those little round you know tea tea holders that that will do just as well so just put that in there and then put boiling this is boiling hot water just put that over there and literally all you got to do is just leave that to steep for two minutes which would have to do with the teabag anyway and then you have a really delicious penalty now penalty is fantastic because it's really great from the digestion so if you're a little bit upset from chemo or just you know feel like giving your your insides a break fennel tea is just a really delicious light way to do it and this is a really super easy way as well now I don't like it with any sweetener in it but you could put like half a teaspoon of honey in there but if that's what you like but as you can see it's got it goes very fast so what I've got to do now is just it's just perfect it's because this is a light tea anyway and just and it's little deliciousness here oh so great
