hi I'm Cathy crafts coordinator at Rome crafts and today I'm going to show you how to make this Christmas nativity box card cut a 12 by 12 double-sided paper down to 6 inches by ten and a half inches I'm using the first edition Christmas story paper pad and there's a template on our blog to show you where to cut and score score horizontally at 3 inches stopping at 7 a half inches measure at two and a half inch intervals cutting the paper above the score line and scoring below it the tab at the edge of the paper will hold the card together to make it easier to fix snip at an angle at the top and bottom attach double-sided tape and fix to the opposite edge of the paper fold the creases on the three sides to create the box shape create the supports for the inside of the box by cutting a piece of paper three and a half inches and scoring at half an inch and three inches cut in half horizontally to create two supports crease the fold in opposite directions and the touch double-sided tape to the tabs place the supports inside the box unfold the Box flat to ensure the supports have been attached correctly die-cut the nativity scene in contrasting papers from the Christmas story paper pad and cut the angel star and crib from gold Mira card attach the crib Mary and Joseph to the front panel of the box die-cut the stable and a sentiment fixing them both to the back panel of the card attached strips of acetate to the remaining die cuts and fix them to the supports inside the box at an angle making sure the angel and star are higher than the staple animals once complete the card will fold down flat to go into an envelope you can create Christmas box cards using your favorite trim cross Christmas papers and dies thanks for watching don't forget you can find a whole range of christmas inspiration at trim craft co uk and don't forget to follow trim craft and cut across TV on social media
