Please explain how to build a mini siege catapult

okay today we're going to be teaching you how to build a small siege catapult out the stuff you can find around the house for this build you're going to need four wooden clothespins like these and we're going to also need nine popsicle or crafting sticks just like this type here you'll need two small and one medium sized binder clip a plastic disposable spoon duct tape masking tape or electrician's tape and a whole bunch of rubber bands so your first step is to take your popsicle sticks and separate them into three stacks completing them with duct tape you're going to want to have a little bit on each end then you'll take two of your clothespins attach them like so making sure you leave a little bit of the wooden end out take one of your other bundles of craft sticks and slide them onto the other end of the clothespins and that forms your base make sure it's nice and straight sturdy and you're ready for the next step here we're going to be attaching the other set of clothespins as uprights like so you'll want to slide them between the first and second one end between the first and second of the bottom base before attaching the elastics just to support it now this just keeps everything tight and snug together you do this on both sides and that gets you your base and you take your last bundle of sticks and attach one of your small binder clips to it into the middle like so and when you attach that you want to put that with the prongs facing downwards and slide them into the uh upright clothespins like so good make sure everything is straight and even all right and now you're going to set that base aside next you take your tape your medium binder clip and your small binder clip with your disposable spoon first you'll take the uh medium binder clip with this with the spoon and you want to attach that to the neck of the spoon like so it can go in a little rough so just be careful and make sure you don't break the spoon in the process there we go all right now you take your small binder clip and you'll need a length of tape one second let's get this all right okay and with your tape in hand you attach one of the prongs to the binder clip of the small binder clip underneath the spoon now you're going to want to make sure that the the small binder clip you have there the part that once you squeeze it it's going to be facing downwards this the cup of your spoon will be facing up but you want the opening of the binder small binder clip facing down all right and that gives you your swivel arm you want to remove the prongs of the medium binder clip from the top there then we bring in the base unit and you slide it right into that bottom middle piece right in the middle so that the it now has a nice hinge remove the the leftover arm of the binder clip okay now since we've got it night everything set here you take the side of the the top binder clip that you have there you take remove that piece that's facing your catapult arm with an elastic you attach it to the other end of the binder clip and swing it around the neck of the spoon you want to try and thread it through the medium clip so that it catches and holds it in place this gives you a nice tension now just to study things up you might want to reinforce some of the other edges of the frame with elastics i myself only did the top parts the upright parts connecting it to the to the stopper and the elastic plane that that way everything is not a lot firmer and gives you a more sturdy base to fire from once that is all set your your uh siege catapult is basically finished here we go one last twist and there all right straighten it all out and we have a nice sturdy catapult okay now for a test fire here we have about 12 feet of space we're going to be firing the catapult which is set right here from an elevated position we have our bullet a wad of duct tape and there we go
