hey guys today I'm gonna make some chicken breast and rice in the instant pot so let's apply the pressure I'm using white jasmine rice for this now on the bag it says one and a half cups of water per one cup of rice but in the instant pot I go equal parts water to rice so two cups of water already in there and then two cups of rice it'll just kind of mix that up a little bit and then I have a chicken breast there was two in this package I reused one these are just boneless skinless chicken breasts these were $6.99 a pound so two chicken breasts cus nine dollars and fifty one cents a little bit expensive but these Rocky the range chicken is pretty good so anyway I already season this with some kosher salt and seasoned pepper but you can season in any way you like and I'm not gonna bother to brown it cuz doesn't see my boneless skinless chicken Browns up that well anyway so I'm just gonna put it right on top of the rice yeah we'll get the lid on there I'm gonna use the rice setting for this and that's automatic it says twelve I guess it takes 12 minutes I'm not really sure but it's automatic I know that I'm going to turn to keep warm off and we'll get that started alright the pot just shut off and I release the pressure that took about half an hour so let's see how it looks not too bad let me grab a plate and we'll try it out all right see how this turned out I steamed some broccoli and rainbow colored carrots there sprinkle a little bit of that sweet soy sauce on the chicken and the rice so cut into the chicken see how it looks here actually doesn't look too bad it looks fairly juicy let's try buy to that actually it turned out pretty good I'm not a huge fan of chicken breasts but that's actually pretty good yes we better see what any to taste-test dog Thanks inhale I guess she approved well that worked out pretty good it was about half an hour to cook on the rice setting and then I release the pressure and it's good to go thanks for watching see you guys
