hi today I'm going to show you a really adorable quick easy centerpiece for a baby shower and you can always give it to the guest of honor at the end so it is a gift also it's a small little diaper cake it's really cute so what you need is I'm using a 20 pack of newborn diapers but you can use size 1 I just think newborns they're just a little and cute ahh some string to tie the diapers together something to decorate it I'm gonna use yellow ribbon and a yellow flower for the top I think it's just really pretty against the white I'm also use a glass cake pan to put it in so it's in the center of the table really pretty you probably should use a rubber band just makes your life easier and I also have white crinkle paper that I'm gonna put on the bottom gonna be really pretty so you can use get better jar or soup can whatever it is and you stick your rubber band around it you take your diapers some people roll their diapers like this and then they tie them and then they stick them in that's not what I'm going to show I'll show that in another video but for now we're going to do it I really like the look of this one this just kind of has a classy look to it so we're kind of putting the diaper on top of each other kind of like a scalloped way so we're going to stick those in here and we're going to work our way around it so you just start your rubber band and you just take your diapers and you just go all the way around you just keep going look at nice and pretty sure your diapers are facing the same way as you go around just keep going around all I'm doing is I'm grabbing the diaper and I'm putting it in there scalloping it like this so it's kind of like step and you just keep keep going around and round around when you've gone all the way around you can take your soup can or peanut better jar or whatever it is it's in the middle hole no mutt just take a couple of diapers together and just kind of roll them in a ball and step in the middle so now you have a beautiful outer layer and I just take the rest and I go on the inside so now I have that circle of diapers on the inside and I'm just going to keep going around it's kind of making it a little bit bigger it's getting them in the middle because we already did the outside are you looking really good so just keep going with get up in the middle what's very very pretty I love how a yellow and white look together okay so I'm gonna kind of try to make all these little folds around outside even because it just looks cleaner neater prettier all right mess with it after I have this string on then I'm gonna take your string you can actually just leave the rubber band on if you want I don't like to because I reuse my ray-bans so I'm going to take the string tied around it double knot it and then you can take that rubber band right off like that then don't really want string left on my diaper cake go put it on you're going to take your pretty ribbon and go right along that line sometimes I do get my hot glue gun and because I want it to look flat and I will just cut here and glue this on here just so it's flat and then you can put something over it like a flower but this one I really want to do a foe so I'm going to make it longer for bow okay mm-hmm tie a bow just do not that don't not it yep you're not very good at those like I am not very good at those what you can do little trick I learned is you take the two pieces like this and you Tommy on like that it usually comes out very very pretty and look a little trick I like to do is i hot glue gun this here and this here so that it looks like the perfect bow it actually works quite well otherwise you can just tie it with a regular bow just like you would tie it bow which doesn't always come out as pretty so either way you have that take cake pan now that your diaper cake is in shape and I like put a bunch prinkle River just around the edges I just like to kind of put it on there and move it all around make it look great keep messing with it until it's kind of spread out and you can always add more or less whatever you like I like a little more on the edges just because I think it looks better that in the middle stick your flower on it and what I like I like the bow in the back I like it to look very flat in the front so I'm going to leave it like that and it's just the cutest little centerpiece because you can just put it on like this or you can even put the top on it which is really really cute too so the end of party hands on the diaper cake and it's a gift too
