perfect for any age these foil pack meals are easy to whip up cook over a roaring fire and have very little cleanup camping is easily one of my favorite things to do when my friends and I go we love to do a ton of activities one thing's for sure though we definitely always work up a huge appetite so thankfully a bunch of Boy Scouts back in the day came up with a really clever idea it's a filling meal that you wrap tightly in tin foil and you cook it all on the campfire now I'm assembling these here one thing that's great about this recipe is you can prep them ahead of time at home pack them up in a cooler with ice and then just throw them on the fire when you're hungry we're going to start by tearing off two squares of aluminum foil and spraying them with nonstick cooking spray and then we're going to add our meat and veggies first we're going to mix the sauces into the beef and then divide the meat into two packs then we're just going to chop up our vegetables into even bites throw them on top of our meat sprinkle with a little salt and pepper wrap them up and that is it now the way I like to do this is bring up the sides fold them together and then wrap up the ends making a really nice tight pack then throw them onto the campfire for 25 to 30 minutes or until the meat is cooked through once it's done cooking you're going to safely use your tongs to remove the packet from the fire and then carefully unwrap it oh look at that it's like steaming nice and hot and then something that I love to do when it's still hot is just add a little bit of shredded cheese you know this is one of my favorite meals to enjoy after a long day out in the Sun hiking but don't forget you can really have fun with the mix-ins over here I have salmon mushroom asparagus with a little bit of lemon and then an easy veggie pack I cannot wait to try this this is like a home-cooked meal out in the wilderness so good and comforting add a little bit of hot sauce oh this is so good guys I would love to know if you're gonna try this out the next time you go camping let me know in the comment box below I'm Randy and I'll see you next time bye
