- action alright so this post task but the task care was to stain these stair balusters so the first thing you do is you get pre stained with conditioner and you just use a regular like a dollar brush and you just brush it on really quickly and let it soak in and dry for 15 minutes then you go ahead and get your actual stank I chose the Golden Oak and use another pretty cheap brush company bucks or something like that so you actually get it on them and then as it's it's kind of soaking in you take around like a soft rag and you smooth it out so that it actually kind of stop the soaks into the wood and its really smooth and that's really it it's really kind of easy and it comes out of this beautiful color before it was just like the white raw wood and there's the stair railings as well I mean the actual stair and you let it dry for eight hours and then put on a coat of clear coat that's it
