Please explain how to make curried butternut squash and lentil soup

hello oh my god just beets and welcome to the new year yes it's 2018 and we are starting off with a whole lot of new recipes for you some of the recipes have come from our cookbook and when I say our I mean our because remember you're gonna help me with this cookbook coming out in the early spring so one of the recipes that everybody in the world all was little about and that's what can I do with a butternut squash well I'll tell you what you gonna do it about a nut squash today I'm gonna be working on not one but two recipes you have to come back and wait for the second one but the first one I'm doing is a very simple curried butternut squash and lentil soup good doughnut so so easy let me tell you all you need get yourself a pot turn it on to that pot we're gonna add a little bit of olive oil does it have to be able to boil no it don't have to be I cook with olive oil from heaven all right just enough there Oh mom let me come to you I was copied speaking all right thank you do that I'm gonna season that part with some Cajun seasoning just enough to cover it I'm also going to add some curry powder all right let's make lunch turn it off to that we're gonna add some garlic to this is the top to my butternut squash just to let you know that that's what that is I'm going to add some diced butter nuts okay that rule or if you call it is roll okay okay and we're gonna just give that a star just so that we hoped it was all that good name now let's put it back over here on to the stubble do that I'm going to add some salt I'm gonna add some garlic powder as well as the time as well as the clothes if somebody didn't have fresh garlic you could just go on you could just go with the garlic powder you don't even have to put bump it I have it so I'm using cool black pepper now you guys know me I do what they call food sharing you know what food sharing means no it's the food sharing means my man I made some broccoli if I blow it up some broccoli now I ain't throwing that water in the bin nope minute spin it into another meal so I'm going to add the stock the wardrobe yeah my broccoli all of it because my broccoli it's just gonna be yeah but that also means you're getting the vitamins and extra vitamins so all we need and literally that's all you need okay so question would you recommend that if people do have the space in their freezers if they're all cooking up vegetables and boiling water to just freeze that stock and they freeze and stuff freeze it freeze it free they're not using it there and if you're not using this straight away and you know what I also do with things like this I'll tell you what you do you get yourself an ice cube tray pour it into the ice cube tray freeze it because then say if you need just some chicken stock you can just go to the freezer pop out one little done it's a vegetable stock done and that's how we roll we don't get it we spin it so there we go so do that what I want to do is I'm gonna wait for that to come to a boil butternut squash cooks very very quickly once this has come to the boil I am then going to add some split lentils okay SSO moment okay so people had green or puisque time doesn't matter it's just you have these cook really quickly okay and they're also add too sickening there's good thing come to the boil then we're gonna add our lentils we're gonna taste it make sure it tastes got that flavor coming through then I'm going to puree it bad it's such a creep we'll come back to that alright cool okay as you can see our lengths are butternut squash has been boiling away it's actually quite soft I can get a knife through so at this stage we're going to add roughly two cups or cup and a half of lentils and again those haven't been soaked or anything notes just play and drain in and now we're just gonna need those to boil for about another 15 20 minutes oh okay okay sit cool okay so our butternut squash and our lentils have been cooking for about 20 minutes at this point we're going to add a little bit of cream some fresh cream is that necessary if it was very nice what happened there if somebody to substitute a clean professional yeah all right now oh there's some yeah yellow chili sauce there can you bring it to me please one drop of a Chanel you need now I just want to point out to my fav one of my favorite patrons out there David this is your current butternut squash soup this is pepper sauce now I want y'all to watch that I win my poor man with youtube up a counter thinking this was butternut squash soup he's chili sauce this is your soup lovely creamy and it ain't hot alright that's all I'm not even gonna add this but I just wanted to let David know see the difference David there's a difference okay so we need to try this I need a spoon I yeah I definitely need salts delicious but it definitely needs so it's lacking in the straw some salt but it is also I'm going to add a teeny bit of chili for else it's missing actually better pepper lips and I know I'm not a nice fan but I think no cumin oh it's really lipstick and I'm not even a massive fan but cumin would definitely let that wait a minute did you forget for the few minutes forgot to put cumin in these times I know what I'm talking about is one of the key elements I don't even know how I went there without look human hold on let me see please you taste buds have been
