all right now hopefully you put all your powder equipment away um it's not good to leave powder stuff out especially because if you well if you leave them in the hopper of your powder measure you can mistaken it for a different powder later on and that could be pretty dangerous but now it's time to seat the bullet first thing you want to do is put your show holder in and get your bullet seating die you want to take your charge case put it in the show holder and for this die I'm going to lower the rim you want to screw this down until you feel it touch the case mount make sure it hits the case mouth by hitting your locking nut right there all right now if you want this to crimp it um you want to back it out a quarter turn but we're going to be doing that with a factory crimp die which is a little more accurate so we're going to back this out a half a turn so we'll take this point and we'll put it over here that'll be half then you take your locking nut and up here is your bullet depth of the die you wanna back that out some you don't want to seat the bullet too far to begin with we will take your manual and you want to see the overall length that'd be this line here which is 3.290 so that's your overall length um I'm going to be using Hornady 7 mil 139 grain ssts to get some of those out set your bullet in the case mouth and push it all the way down then you want to get your caliper out and really we're striving for 3.290 we have three three with three a little too much so we were died down or your adjustment down a little bit more you measure it 3.299 getting closer further now to vary minute adjustments is that enough okay 3.295 3.292 foreign once it's set I need the rest of your bullets can go through pretty easily oops 3.289 close enough we'll back it out a little bit I'm gonna take our next one Cedar bullet hopefully we get the same outcome oh something you need to watch out for this one was way too uh way too small if you see this tip it has a crushed tip right here so that's going to give me a way different uh bullet seat in depth so we're gonna do is we're going to go ahead and we're going to take this bullet out um now this would you destroy your case if you do it applies or anything that's why you can buy this is the Lyman bullet holder or a bullet puller rather comes with two different pieces one for small one for big rounds this is a big round so this goes right on here put your bullet in this way screw it in they hit it against something hard I don't want to hit my table so we'll hit it on splits so um this is safe because the only way the Bolt's gonna go off if this primer is hitting there's nothing that's going to hit that primer so give it a few whack sometimes it takes a little bit more than um others and there it goes your bullets extract extracted so now you can go ahead and do unscrew this the case has not been touched that's fine you take your powder funnel bullet now normally this bullet is saved here let's say you want to take it out because uh you want to check your charger or something um this saves the complete round so but in this case this bullet most effective so we're going to go ahead and throw this bullet away to this case go back over here and we'll put this away hopefully we don't need it again so we'll get another round oh spoke my powder out that's just great measure the round 3.291 that's pretty damn oh well 3.290 and a half that's that's really close once again apparently I need to check my bullets now foreign now for accuracy the maximum length the maximum length they can be is what you want to shoot for because if you want the bullet to touch the rifling oh just touch the right foot inside your gun for most accuracy if it's if your bullet seated too deep then there's gonna be a little bit more player than you want so this is the last one I'm doing now set this and these uh these tips must have a little variance in them this is showing a little deeper or I mean it should be a little deeper so this one a little deeper that's good so this case now we uh I spilled powder out of um also the side this case aside and I'll redo that one later all right so now we have about four loaded rounds um now for the next step
