hey guys what's up it's uniform we're and we're going to be making a lanyard today this design I can with my on my own using different braids that I've learned and I hope you guys enjoy it we're going to start off with a square crown Sennett break so you want to start out by making an S with your base color and then putting your second color over that s and it should go under the first strand and over the next two strands then you're going to wrap it back around and it's going to go under all three two strands and then it's going to be wrapped back over once again and then this time it's just going to go over the first strand over the second strand and then under the third strand then you're going to pull all these tight the trick to this is pulling them in the correct direction so you want to pull them directly away from the braid it should end up looking like a little checkered square and then to do this braid again you take the top strand and pull it over the braid you're going to take the bottom strand and pull it over the braid the other way then you want to do this with the green on both the green colors you're going to go over the first strand and under the second strand make sure all the strands stay in their Lane so to speak so for instance the green strand that's on the left in my case that's starting on the bottom has to stay on the bottom when you pull through then you're just going to go ahead and continue doing this until the braid gets to be about four inches or as long as you want then we're going to be tying what's called a terminal knot I believe so you're going to want to start off by doing a round crown Sinnott braid which is just where you take the bottom braid and you pull it over the Left braid take the left braid you pull it over the top braid take the top braid you pull it over the right braid take the right braid and then it goes over braid that you the strand that you just used and then it's going to go through that last loop right there now this is where it gets interesting we're going to turn it into a terminal knock so we're going to be doing is you're going to start with whatever braid you want but I started with the top right so I just follow this we get either it's going to go around the very base of your other green strand so it's going to go around up right and then you're going to pull it up through the top then you're going to you the next spray so we're going to move clockwise again down to the fire break and it is go and is going to go around the base of the other fire braid and then up through the middle they're going to move on to the next braid which is of course the last green braid and then you're going to take that one around the base of the other green braid and then up through the middle and last but not least you're going to do the last fire core braid which is going to go around the base of the other fire core braid and up through the middle then you're just going to want to go ahead and tighten all this when you do tighten this try to make sure that you tighten everything evenly and the knot stays in the center and then as always I like to take those metal plier tweezer things whatever the heck they are and pull through the extra slack to make sure that it's really tight because once you move on from this part you won't be able to tighten it any more because then you'll have loose strands and you won't know if it looks like this you're headed in the right direction now this is where we're going to add in the gray silver whatever blue cord that I have so what you're going to do is you're only going to be working with two of the original strands so you're going to pull two of them off make sure it's a green and a fire cord one and you're going to pull those off to the side and not worry about those so then you're going to take your two that you're going to be working with and you're going to put the gray cord in between them then you're going to take your green cord and you are going to put it through kind of that loop that you've created and you're gonna take your fire cord and pull through the other way just as I do here then you do the same with the gray cord so after doing this for a little bit you'll start to kind of get a feel for how you're going to keep doing it and then it gets easier so the trick to this is you're going to want to kind of separate them by sides so you can have the two right strands which should be one gray and then a green or fire and the two left strands which should be one gray and a right then you're going to pull on both those strands to tighten the braid so after every time you do a new cord you should tighten it again just to make sure that it ends up looking uniform and this is the tough part this is where you're going to do the we're going to attach the bug cord so the first step to this is you're going to try to gut as much of the gray paracord as you can and then you can go ahead and melt the gray paracord together to create kind of like a point and then you can pull it through the breakaway buckle now what I try to do is I tried to actually light the paracord wallet was in the breakaway buckle which I mean you know I don't know if was the best decision because it melted some of the plastic but then I have filed it down a little bit so that kind of helped I also put a little bit of superglue in there just to try to help it which you can do or you cannot do then you're going to want to cut the strands at the fire and green cord and then melt those in if you melt some of the bucket that's fine it's really not that big of a deal I did but and you're going to want to do the same to the other side but this time what I did is I pulled the bucket away from the main braid so that would be more secure and then I put a little bit of glue in there too and then what you can do is if you follow the direction that the cord is that your fire and green cord are going then you can pull them through the gray and just kind of wrap them around the sides and then cut and sense them so that way it helps there not be a gap anymore and you don't really notice it doesn't look weird if it looks like a braid just continue and then after you do that you're just going to want to go ahead and add a you're just going to want to add a hearing at the bottom or something such as that and then you are done if you guys enjoy this make sure to leave a like comment subscribe I want to see if we can get 10 likes on this video and I know that doesn't sound like a lot because you have all these huge
