first you're going to need the canvas material or stretcher bars to one size and to another size a hammer a staple gun and some scissors okay let's get started go ahead and grab two stretcher bars mine are 16 and 24 now when you bought these you may have noticed these notches at the end of the stretcher bars they're there so we can put them together so go ahead and push together with all the strength you have and keep pushing and pushing until it fits go ahead and grab another stretcher bar and push together keep fighting with it and push it all the way in but if you find yourself having difficulty go ahead and grab the hammer lightly tap it on the sides there you get a thumbs up next up go ahead and lay your canvas on top of the table and put your frame on top now we're going to measure it out you want the material to the least cover the width of the stretcher bar so once you've determined that go ahead and grab your scissors and make a cut and tear into the canvas material if you need to go ahead and do the same thing on the other side great job Rommels their next step once you've positioned your frame in the center of your fabric go ahead and push down on one side grab your staple gun and staple and staple again in the center and staple again on the far side so three staples total go ahead and turn to the opposite side that you just staple pull it up super tight and staple staple on the far side and leave the Center for last now we're going to do the corner it's really easy you notice when I pull it up there's a little notch that sticks out go ahead and grab your index finger push the little notch in and pull up as tight as you can and push down and staple super easy okay go ahead to the opposite side again same thing I'm going to pull it up really tight push the notch in pull tight again push down and stable once you finish your corner go ahead and pull tightly on the side and staple you can do about six staples if you want to be really secure you can do more definitely staple in the corners again then go ahead and do the opposite side you may notice that your canvas is not as tight as it is when you get it from a store don't worry you haven't primed your canvas yet once you do it'll be absolutely perfect okay you did it yay see you next time
