hey gun people let's talk about siphoning stealing gas oh you see that as a kid take a little bit of gas 50 cents a gallon need a little bit take some out of the parents car wherever you could fight at a buddy's car one car had gas the other one did and we change it so anyway we're gonna talk about the different siphoning methods and show you a little little things about siphoning I think a siphon should be kind of in your uh real quick before a good one smokey was over here he's pouting because he was over here with me and I started using the air hose so he got mad he went over there he's pouting Batman put on your Batman cape and quit being a big baby I got to use the air hose for the video all right so here we go siphoning different ways to siphon etc I'm gonna show you a few things different siphons and we're gonna psyche them a little bit I got water in here and I put some iced tea in here to try to make it so you can see it come through the hose but it's not showing up too good so that is a fail so let's look at uh some of the simple cycles here this is uh this is one that I'm not it's okay I think it's 595 you can get Pennzoil there's one that's not Pennzoil I bought two of these I used one the biggest problem I have with these is when the hose is curled up you can't get it to stay down so if you're gonna need to use a siphon you want to keep it to where it's straight because when it's curled up like this and you try to get some distance it tends to want to curl as soon as you get some slack so this is just a regular old plastic siphon hose I got a Home Depot for 495 and I think says really everyone should have this and they're prepping gear or whatever maybe keep one in your car if you ever on a gas somebody stops it'll have a gas can you just take some gas out of their tank with just a simple host so I think it was for ninety five maybe six bucks at Home Depot the bigger the hose the more gas you're going to get quicker you can tell this hose is relatively small this one is a little bit bigger and I'm wondering if the other one is even better this is the the other Pennzoil hose I think it might be even a little bit smaller than the one I got at Home Depot so I'm gonna get more fluid out of this one in this one so on this little little Pennzoil thing I mean it's okay I put up an old ear plug in there to keep the dust and dirt because I want to hang it straight so I didn't want dirt daubers a whole bunch of crap get in here so that's how plug that hole your flow thing so I mean basically you showed this in here as long as you can get it into water if it's curved up it won't go and then they say put your thumb over this and squeeze this a few times and it will suck and then as soon as I get water in here aha bad move you can't let it fall out Holies group you sign them so make sure it stays in the water I've got water in here now if I lower below I might be able to get a cycling going which I did and as long as I keep this below the water level that's going to go if I raise this above the water level it stops and it shuts off so gravity no gravity if I get below the water level I can usually get water if I get above it's kind of stopped so this was a pretty simple siphon imeem for one or time use I'm okay with this it's got a little bulb I'm thinking that's gonna is dry and crack out over time but for five bucks this would work at a crunch how could you get to the bottom of gas on this I'm not sure it's pretty small but again comes like this I think they sell them in a Walmart or Napa or whatever and and Walmart has a cheaper one that might even be cheaper it doesn't have to the Pennzoil stamp on it so that's one type of signpost the other is this side and I haven't tried this one yet order this online it's got a tube like for a barrel it's called the siphon pump it's got a little plastic thing that you pump the problem I have with this is plastic tends to dry out and crack it's got a nice flexible hose I haven't tried it yet you try it right now without read the instructions I'm just going to shove this in here and start pumping and that's pretty much it oh maybe not there we go so we have water flowing pretty simple pump pretty good design the limitation with this is you can only go with deep as this to get your water flowing so could you hook in a whole list of this and put this in long though sure I could probably get the hose I bought at Home Depot hook that right onto there and then I have a hose and I could use this so this is work I want to say this is like 9 bucks on Amazon does it work yeah is it pretty simple yeah seems to be I don't even read instruction I don't know if I take the cap off or whatever so that was pretty simple the next one is uh it's kind of handy I like it it's got a gadget that's kind of cool it's got this little trick bow on the end that goes up and down civil thing wiggling in there so basically you shove this in the hole and you just kind of move it back and forth and it just makes a cyclone this has a pretty good hole I'm not sure if it's bigger than the one I got at Home Depot I don't know if they're the same or bigger no you guys can see I know all the guys will be like man that's huge that's like a hundred inches yeah okay whatever it's four inches you anyway so you shove this one into the water and you move it back and forth to start the flow ends we need to have water pretty good flow comes pretty quick apparently simply use again I raise this above the water level it's going to stop as long as I have the water in here you notice the water level here is pretty much staying equal to what the Lord on there if I drop this water level I could start my flow again and I'll start so is this a pretty good like this one it's simple I think it has a nice big I like the big hose it's this nice soft toes and it's pretty easy to go a lot of people with paranoia got sucking and getting their lips on with fuel etc now this thing is supposed to be good for all type of fuel oils etc so that's another cyclist you may want to look into this one I think is about if you find this somewhere plus shipping everything it's going to be 15 20 bucks because the little brass fitting it fits in there nice it's nice time I can pull this off and change the hose and put a new hose on here so you can actually just buy this piece for the manufacturer and I forgot what it's called safe side better safety sight is what it's called so that's the safety side now the other way this one which is a pizza low and it comes with two hoses and it's got a little pump and so basically one sucks air in and one sucks air out so let's uh let's look at this one I haven't used this yet I know it's kind of cool about this because I read the instructions it's got a little quick release on this so you push this in and it allows you to put your siphon hose in and then it kind of secures it so it didn't come out so that's pretty cool then take it out you pull this back for the quick release and then your water comes out so I'm going to put these two is on this that comes with it and this one also doubles as an air pump so if you need to pump some up it comes with a little attachment that you can put a hose and fill up like a little tire gauge not a car tire but like a bicycle tire or a tube or basketball things like that so let me get this other tubing this quick-release here and say on for the last one because the last ones I think of the coolest so this one's I'm pretty sure if this is they suck in and this is an exhale because when I did this air blew out of here and I didn't fill any other soul so I think it's coming out here so I'm going to shove this my intake into my fuel source I'm going to have this down here and I'm gonna give it one pump and two pumps and am I going I must not have this in here real good because I'm getting a little leakage let's try this again okay so this doesn't continuous pump this is a this affects your Siteman so I think on this pump right here I have to keep pumping it looks like a loss see these curled pipes it wants to come out of the water okay there I go I've got a good scene here it's a pretty little flow but it started my cycling so is this pretty small lows pretty the little flow is going to take a while to get some gas is this a good cycling that seems to work okay it's easy to start it's got two hoses and it doubles as an air I want to say this one might have been 12 bucks and I forgot a baby-napper and again it comes with these little air hose connectors I can connect this to the bottom and then it gives me a little needle fill up my basketball or whatever I'm not sure what the hell that thing fills up but anyway so that's another type of slang now we're going to get down to the just dirty raw easy all I have is a tube now the thing with a tube is a lot of people don't want to be sucking and getting gas in their mouths or oil or whatever so the easiest way to start a siphon is if you have a long enough hose the longer your hose the better like this one if I untied this one it would be really long but I think I can do with this short one so I'm not - we're going to tie down so if you shove your entire line into your tank except leaving a little bit out right now that tube is sitting in fluid so the fluid has fill up the tube with water if I put my thumb on this and block it so the water doesn't go and I pull this out I should have water low enough to start me up low and I think my hose it did it curl up so let me go ahead and use the one because that will uh that will stop that I'm going to watch all these hoses come like iced tea on them now so I have my longer hose here and again see this kinkiness if you're going to be using a hose or you're going out on the siphoning run you're going to need to straighten this out for as long as you can so you can get some distance because if you put this under water like this what happens is this floats up and you're above the water line you think you're below it but your tube inside is floating up hell I might even tie a weight on the bottom of this to make sure it hangs at the bottom but I'm going to strip this hose down all the way in because it's long enough I'm gonna let it give it a second to kind of fill up the water I'm gonna plug my hand over this pull this down and I shoot out water and I don't because it's not up yeah see my hose got all the heat up in here look at this I'm telling you man this kinky hose crap as a pain in the ass let me try this one again because this is kind of my straighter one so I'm pulling this in this actually works people I lost a little water because a lot of its in here so it's not as full so as long as you get enough water in your hose when you plug this and pull you're gonna start a siphon and there's my cycling so it works as long as we have water and as long as your boat stays in your fluid and a big tank that might may be a problem if it takes a low that's going to be a problem now the other way last and final way to start is and this is a pretty easy way if you have an air hose some people say you can just have a second tube and blow so I'm going to put my mic siphon hose into the water and I'm going to cover this hole here and I want to create pressure inside the tank with an air hose this is where Smokey's going to be like damaged so I'm going to put the air here I'm going to cover this up and when I squeeze this I should get water out here and there's my cycling so what I've done is I've taken the pressure and I fished used blowing in pressure instead of blowing out pressure so that's another way to do it now people will say you can do that by just putting your hand over here and blow me into another pipe if I had two hoses here which I do man is humid as hell out here so I'm gonna have one of those blowing and one of those coming out and see how much pressure it takes me to blow and now I started my cycling so I'm not kidding is God Keeton that's what I did I keep that in there trying to make this air tight all right so I'm not stealing this because this is a pretty big hole but a smaller gas tank or if you have a gas tank that are portable tank you can blow into it cover it pretty easy with two hoses two hose and put air pressure in there I personally think this simple and easiest way is to share the hose all the way down let it get water put your thumb over this pull it out till the waters below and start your siphon and I just again my hose is uh coming up all the water line which is always an issue because it's not straight and that is the biggest problem with siphoning is getting a hose to stay at the bottom which is why that little Street tube is probably pretty good somehow put something on here that keeps it straight and if I can keep that at the bottom well it fills up with water play up on my finger and constantly keep that at bottom I should get a good little cycling going so anyway I'm out of the water those are different ways to to use siphons you saw the different one a little shade here is nice and easy quick I don't really have a problem of that because it's weighted it tends to go to the bottom I like that and in some big enough hose to where it starts pretty quick and I've got it going so that's probably one of the easiest wants to use and big enough hose to where you get pretty good flow out of here you're going to move some gas pretty quick so uh we will end that they're on siphons hopefully you got somehow that air pressure lower etcetera and uh since this is a gun channel I had to put a gun in here hopefully you saw the gun alright well in that there man I was pretty high I hope you saw that water flowing all right well
