this is a groovin chick today i'm doing chopped onions now i know most people do the onion rings when they dehydrate their onions but when i cook i use chopped onions more than i use the onion rings so that's so what i'm doing and to make a whole lot easier i chopped mine on my vidalia chop wizard it makes it a whole lot easier and a whole lot faster when you do the onion rings you do have to parboil them for two minutes and when you do your chopped onions you don't have to parboil them so that's a step you don't have to do which is another reason to uh chop your onions instead of doing the onion rings now i'm not really sure how long this is going to take so when i get through i'll be sure to leave a comment on how long it took and i'm i'm assuming it'll take probably about eight to ten hours due to the high moisture content of onions but i will be sure to leave a message like i said and let you know i have three trays of them i'll come in about five hours and rotate my trays and they were pretty simple to do just a few tears and that's not because i didn't have a whole lot it was because the onions were really strong but anyway i set my food dehydrator to 135 and that's how simple it was until the next time this is a groove and check out if you like my videos please click like if you like my channel please subscribe
