Please explain how to remove/install a boat propeller

everyone is kurta boaters outlet calm we're here at Sand Hollow resort in st. George before we go on I was going to change my prop usually if you have a prop wrench it's easier I forgot mine so I'm just gonna use a basic adjustable wrench here let me show you how to take this one off so generally on a prop wrench have a little tap it'll Bend this washer out but this will work for me this is a special washer if you keep it so that nut won't spin off so I just take and Bend these up with this wrench so now this washer will be able to turn so get that on there so make sure you save that because you don't want to lose that guy and then the prop should just pull on it off so I want to show you the difference this prop right here this has a hub kit that's prot pressed into it so that was manufactured with the hub kit already installed on the stainless the one I'm going to put on is aluminum and this has a hub kit that you put in let me show you how you put that up hook this up here so you can just buy one of these at our store these are about 40 bucks this is what's going to come in your your hub kit system those parts there this washer in this washer are going to do the same thing and I'll show you how this one works so this is how it works this prop as you can see is different than this one you can see it's a lot wider there's no splines in it so you take your hub kit this end will go in the back just kind of push that in this end will go on the front just like that remove that sticker this thrust washer if you don't already have one on your prop you always will put that on first you see one there I've already got one on there if you want to replace this you can this one's not that old so I'm just going to keep this as a spare another thing you need to do is grease your spline I just put two four C on there before we came so you can still see it's on there I would probably put some more on I don't have any right now but always keep your spline greased so this is this is ready to slide on just like that push that down then you got your new prop locking washer here and then I'm going to use the new prop nut that came with the kit right there's good so this washer these tabs are going to be here so what you do is you bend these up now I don't have the right tool see how I bent those on that way these teeth are going to keep this nut from spinning off and that's that's ready to go so that's how you change a prop it's always nice to carry a spare when you're out there but definitely if you have any questions about pitching prop what prop you might want feel free to give us a call or email us which I could side up boaters outlet calm
