hey chef Kendra here and today we're I'm making crumb cakes it's a pretty easy process so I want you to start off by preheating your oven to 325 degrees and getting a cake pan butter flour shaking off the excess and this cake is easy to make but it has a lot of gradients it comes in two parts you got to make a crumb part then you got to make the cake part if you need any help any ingredients come over to my website and I'll hook you up that's WWF country wind calm and please take the time to subscribe I really would appreciate it okay we put sugar butter cinnamon crushed pistachios was just totally optional and we mix it all together now we're putting it into some all-purpose flour now what's important to remember here is that we use it all-purpose flour for this part but for the cake part we're using cake flour it gives a better crumb it's just a better product for making cakes stir that up a little bit but really is a clean hands alert because you really have to get in with your hands and get it to the proper consistency set it aside we're gonna toss our dry ingredients into the stand mixer which is just cake flour sugar baking soda and salt we're gonna let that go for about a minute minute 1/2 or low the whole time tossing in little chunks of butter once we get all our butter in and it looks like sand then we can add our other ingredients I'm gonna toss in an egg and a yolk of another egg and we're gonna use some really good quality vanilla and then I'm gonna put in our buttermilk we're gonna let it go but we're gonna Jack it up to medium and when it looks like cake batter supposed to look stop it we're going to pour it into our parent cake pan bake it at 325 degrees for 40 minutes of course you want to add your crumb toppings before that and this is your final result buddies all right chef Kendra is out peace you
