Please explain how to clean the "stains" off your cutting board & what i believe is better than plastic

so as you can see the cutting board is dirty and I usually run it through the dishwasher sometimes I'll bleach it a little bit but some of this stuff never comes off and I think oh it's just a stain I was watching a show today found out that that's actually bacteria and what professional chefs do to get rid of it is they take their knife and they'll scrape down scrape and get all the fines not as bad as when I saw on TV you can see that that's actually bacteria that's not just the stain so hopefully that'll be a helpful tip Thanks I we are transitioning to these cutting boards non-slip these little corners which is nice let's see durable environmentally friendly bamboo it resistant to moisture and scratching gentle on blades and will not dull knives non-slip edges while cutting so something like this is a good option when it's resistant to bacteria moisture things of that nature it's better on your knives that way you don't got to worry about that nasty plastic bacterial build-up check you later hey in the clip just wanted to let you know that scraping your plastic cutting boards with a knife like that can put a few more grooves in your cutting board and also dull your knife Justin used to do this in culinary school so this is just kind of like a last-ditch-resort to clean that board also you don't want to use a knife that you use too often this one is one of my spare knives so your best bet is to go ahead and get one of those eco-friendly bamboo moisture resistant bacteria resistant scratch resistant boards hope this tip was helpful and I'll see you all next time bye
