brought to you by 1a auto calm your source for quality replacement parts and the best service on the Internet hi I've gone from 1 a.m. I hope this how-to video helps you out and the next time you need a part for your vehicle think of 1a auto calm thanks in this video we're going to show you how to replace the tail light bulbs on this 1998 Honda Civic and for the inner taillight you're going to need a phillips screwdriver and for the outer taillight you're going to need a flat blade screwdriver we'll start off by showing you the inner taillight you need to just disconnect the harness by pushing on the tab and pulling it out and then on the other side there's one Phillips screw and you want to just go ahead and remove that now you can just pull down that plastic cover and right here are your lights you just twist out the socket pull the bulb straight out push your new bulb into place and twist the socket back in and the other bulb same thing twist it out pull the bulb straight out push the new one in and twist it back into place and when you're done replace that plastic cover and the Phillips screw and now reconnect your harness now to replace the bulbs on the outer taillight you want to start off by pushing in the center of this clip and prying it out and then pull back your insulation and now you just twist the socket out and the bulb pulls straight out push the new one in and push the socket back into place and the bulb above it same thing just twist the socket out pull the bulb right out push the new one in and twist it back into place and if you need to replace the bulbs on the other side it's the exact same process when you're done fold the insulation back up into place tuck it in under that plastic panel and replace your clip and to replace it just pull out the center push the clip into place and push the center in to lock it we hope this video helps you out brought to you by 1a auto calm your source for quality replacement parts and the best service on the internet please feel free to call us toll free at 888.259.3826
